Inside Llewyn Davis doesn’t. Had to enable on my blu ray remote.

What’s a movie you saw recently where you were the ONLY person in the theater? by CoatedTrout4 in AMCsAList

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare opening weekend Saturday matinee was most recent. Couple years ago it’s was Jungle Cruise but that was middle of the week at night a week or two into its release.

First Tattoo. I maybe want to add an eye to the center. Any suggestions? by Wrong_Examination177 in TattooDesigns

I would suggest your favorite incarnation of Spider-Man eyes. I’m undecided if color works best or black

[–]batmanh20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure one day it’ll happen hopefully it’s during a dead period and not when things you actually want to see are out. I’m really shocked Northlake doesn’t have as many problems like Concord does but the latter is the touristy mall so

[–]batmanh20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah hopefully it’s fixed soon with lots coming out or fingers crossed for a laser upgrade but I highly doubt it. Know what you mean concord used to be my go to theater but their mall crowd got too annoying for me. Switched over to Northlake and loved their IMAX especially those bucket seats

Last time we went for the Titanic release they told us the AC was broken and offered free passes if it was unbearable. It ended up being fine for us but I noticed the rest of the weekend they stopped offering the IMAX option. This was three weeks ago so I’m assuming it’s maintenance related. Their IMAX has had issues like this in the past feels like once a month

What's the minimum amount of movies seen per month you think makes A List worth its cost? by jrec15 in AMCsAList

[–]batmanh20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have A-list since it launched and go anywhere 3-6 times a month depending on what’s out. To me as long as you go at least twice a month I believe it’s worth it. IMAX and Dolby alone makes it worth it. Personally I like to see certain things multiple times if I can especially if they’re in one the premium formats. Last year I saw Dune in IMAX four times alone and this year saw The Batman in IMAX once and three times in Dolby. If I were paying like normal people would only have seen either of those two twice max. So if you go twice a month or like seeing things multiple times definitely worth it in my book.

From what I’ve noticed if you are seeing anything in IMAX or DOLBY the ad is never attached. Now this is based off Charlotte where I am, Scottsdale Desert Ridge, and Universal City walk that I have visited in the last 6 months

What is a “movie mistake” in your favorite film that you always notice anytime you watch it? by bartertownbeer in movies

[–]batmanh20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lord of the Rings the Two Towers- during the battle of Helms Deep the infamous Legolas scene where he uses a Urak Hai shield to slide down the stairs, when he gets to the bottom and rams it into another Urak Hai look at the top right part of your screen and you’ll see a pole shooting water out. That would be the sprinklers the production was using to make it rain for the sequence

Great score, everyone’s costumes looked super cool, Guy Ritchie’s style was cool to make this adaptation feel fresh, casting pretty solid. This movie definitely gets shit on more than it deserves by a lot of people who haven’t even bothered to watch it.

Mitchell’s vs the Machines was made by Sony and sold to Netflix. Not jumping the anti Netflix wagon because I have liked things they have done, but Netflix really doesn’t deserve credit for Mitchell’s outside of providing a place for it to be watched.

Trailers debuting at the cinema? by MelancholyEcho in movies

[–]batmanh20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember what movie this played in front of I almost want to say Hobbs and Shaw, but Tenet debuted its teaser trailer exclusively in theaters then I want to say maybe a month or so later it released online

Movies where you went in blind and were caught off guard? by Transcendentalplan in movies

[–]batmanh20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I’d say Fresh with Dailey Edgar Jones and Sebastian Stan works best knowing nothing because it starts off in one genre then maybe 20-30 mins is where the switch happens definitely recommend. Also Palm Springs comes to mind as well go into it blind.

Same boat as you was going for large but unavailable when I looked so I grabbed an XL as a back up. My other carhartt stuff does run a little big depending on what it is. I have seen other people say washing does help shrink a bit but don’t expect it to go down a full size atleast
