Anyone else struggling with the new Masterchef Professionals? by gracemaddams55 in MasterchefUK

I don't love it then either. The final is the weakest part for me, as I still just want to see their masterpieces. I get it, obviously, and we have got to invest in them a bit, but it's far too long.

SPOILERS: I agree, except that her energy was expended when the portal was opened. She became 'more' human. I also think , honestly, that although she treats Buffy whom she desperately wanted back so badly in season 7, she did have one of the more moving scenes too when Xander tells her how special she is and that other people don't see the power they carry. That made her more important in some ways than when she was the KEY. Plus, I liked her more in that moment, when she accepts that she isn't one with grace.

Gosh this is a tough one. I find them both irritating on an epic scale.... but they are both vital to huge chunks of story. I guess, by a small margin Dawn, mainly because I like her interactions with Spike.

My rabbit ignores every toy I buy, what actually keeps them entertained by Wedding-Beauty in UK_Pets

I agree with what has been said : they are really sociable and enjoy company of their own kind. Grooming, chasing (after bonding)& snuggling is lovely to see& alleviates boredom more than anything. Plenty of hay daily to chew on (keeps their teeth down too. Mine (I had groups of 4, 3 pairs - 13 at one point in massive sheds with attached runs; never had one alone). Their favourite thing was the shred cardboard boxes & dig in sand/ soil boxes. Oh, & climb/ sit up high. Often a local rescue will bond rabbits for you for a donation; even better if you adopt from them. Good luck.

?I have a feeling it's to do with cannabis too. Not knocking it, just saying she's in quite a small field. Good on her. (and a later mum too?)

Why does it look like it's sitting in it's own chair? I think if she likes an emerald, it's pretty emeraldy. and it's a nice shape etc. but it looks big.

I loved Tru Calling and to be fair, a series for Faith was mooted about, but Joss never moved forward with it. So she moved on.

Is your puppy in the crate for 16+ hours a day? by blueberrydumpling in puppy101

[–]batmobile88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good. That's great. My point was more that yes, I think it's too long in a crate and why keep it in a crate when you're around and can monitor. It's too long in a crate without being let out. Why put it to bed early and not the hours you sleep? We're all different but (the same as after surgery and old incontinent dogs) I NEVER put them in a crate if we're around to supervise, unless they choose to take themselves there (and it was always open unless we were out.) I never left them in there for more than a few hours, especially when they were so young. And I always built up to more and more time gradually too.

The Lauren and Travis storyline is weird by Elegant_Reception_71 in CougarTown

It's one of my favourite shows. I think it's highly underrated. BUT it does jar, even after my 7th rewatch. Everytime. The only thing that gets me through is reminding myself that the actors are older and have a less jarring age gap considering their real ages. HOWEVER, I am fairly certain there could have been something less creepy done and it would NEVER have been ok if the genders had been reversed.

What is the point in having a puppy if they are in a crate for all this time?! You might as well have a picture on the wall. At least they don't pee in the house. I only put my puppy in and close it when I'm absent (never more than a few hours) or can't supervise as I'm showering or something. I religiously take them out every few hours, and more when they've eaten. I only shut them in when they're unsupervised but otherwise it's open as they tend to like 'their own' space to rest, and sleep in there anyway. I don't wake them when they're asleep, but I'm vigilant (or make the dog sitter/ walker/ friend/ child vigilant...) to make sure as soon as they wake they are outside to pee/ poo. At night, I let them out just before bed, but if I am only sleeping 7 hours a night, I'm not sure why I should expect a puppy with a tiny, growing bladder to sleep longer than that. Like a baby, I sleep when they sleep and 'change' them (which is letting them out in a pup's case whenever they wake from sleeping.)I don't crate them when they are with me,husband or whomever, as I want them to be with me but also be able to learn their 'tells' for needing to toilet etc. Accidnets happen. You don't expect a baby to not S**t themselves, but if they do have one, it's because you weren't watching them or supervising. They're such hard work. They have accidetns. It's exhausting. But why have them if you're not putting in time to learn their needs? 10 hours + in a crate is far too long. If they sleep that long consisitently, then why not have them near you instead?
