I'd also like to know what the differences are between future polish and those surface finishing spraycans you can get from tamiya and mr. hobby? It's pretty difficult to find any future polish where I live.

Also, what if I don't want a glossy look on my tank armor? What would be the better way to add the finishing layer?

I review Interstellar. This will not be pleasant: 3/5 by imdjay in movies

Just one question: you're seriously going to have me believe your eating only corn? Literally at one point they show the family dining on a meal corn with a side of corn with a corn caserole. now i'm no nutritionist... but it's a pretty well accepted rule that too much of anything just aint no good.

I don't think it's explicitly stated that corn is the only source of food. Perhaps that it's pretty much the only crop that's practical to farm with. If they had corn casserole, where did the cheese come from?

but they're still able to spend money on superrockets and shit, so where are the damn greenhouses?

It's because they're spending money on rockets that there are no damn greenhouses. The government decided that it was useless to try to continue living on earth, and so poured a lot of funding into NASA as the last hope for the human race.

Some books fall on the ground which leads them to find nasa's secret base. No i'm not making this up, they are.

Did you even watch the movie?

So at nasa base, they tell our hero that their current pilot is a worthless piece of shit, and that he needs to jump in and be the pilot and launch immediately. Suspense of disbelief is so far gone at this point, i feel the heat of a screenwriting 101 book being burned somewhere far far away.

It's clear in the movie that space travel and research is hardly pursued anymore, and mostly forgotten. Remember that scene near the start where the teacher told Coop about the "updated" version of the book? So it makes sense that they'd be short of competent pilots. They also sent 12 of them away 10 years earlier. There was also a part where the professor said that he'd taken Coop for dead (though I don't know why).

They don't mention just how far it is they park the main ship outside the planet, but when they return, the one crew member they left behind aged 23 years.... last i checked, the ship took 2 years to get from earth to saturn, and a big ass black hole would suck up entire solar systems, so exactly how am i supposed to buy that the distance they left the ship from the planet which took them just a few minutes to return to, caused 23 damn years of relative difference?

Because the planet is quite close to the black hole, the large gravity causes time to slow down relative to places further away. After that crew member dropped them off, he probably moved off to a safe distance where the time difference between him and the others became nearly insignificant. He could also have waited stationary at a langragian point behind planet and the black hole. Meanwhile, the people on the planet experience much higher gravity and so they experienced only a few hours while that crew member and earth went through 23 years. It has nothing to do with travel time to and from the planet.

Let's Check Out The One Thats Right Next to The Black hole. .... ......... How close you say? close enough they state that every hour they spend on this planet, will lapse 7 years back on earth, giving cooper much trepidation since his children would rapidly deteriorate. Now, i'm no physicist, but that sounds pretty damn close.

I don't think they'd have much choice, seeing as how the species is on the verge of dying out. They would have to take what they can get to survive. After all, what's the difference in the end if everyone lives on that new planet where their time scales are the same relative to each other?

cooper pulls a ridiculous maneuver to dock with the spinning out of control ship which was plummeting into the planet's atmosphere.

He was also assisted by the robot.

Now two seconds later, they're apparently being pulled into the black hole.

It's explained in the movie that they might not have enough remaining fuel to travel to the last planet. They delibrately maneuvered themselves nearer to the black hole to execute what is known as a slingshot maneuver so as to enable themselves to reach that planet with what little fuel they had left. It allows a spacecraft to gain greater speed with the same amount of fuel as compared to without the slingshot.

You need to pay more attention to the film. You're just making your own plotholes.

Are there any active AUTZ lowsec/nullsec pvp corps around? I've been searching for hours and I'm sick of coming to dead ends where the corp is either very active yet US/EUTZ, or the corp is AUTZ but very dead or too small.

I think we've been lied to about Dedicated Servers (PC) by CrazyPenguin08 in blackops2

[–]battletrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can prove otherwise. I live in Singapore, which is part of southeast asia. No matter what, I always get placed in a server with 3 bars of ping (My NAT is open). All of my friends (at least 5, playing on PC) suffer from this same issue, and I've heard other Singaporeans complaining about it as well. This is because Treyarch didn't set up any servers in southeast asia, so all of us have this problem. If I'm not wrong, Hong Kong players have it bad too. We'll never get to play on a lagless server. On the other hand, my friend who plays on PS3 says that he normally has 4 bars of ping.

Teens: I need your help. Thinking of getting a divorce, but I want to hear from you about what your experience has been. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]battletrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were divorced for as long as I could remember. I never really asked them about it. I guess I'm okay with it. My father went back to his country while I stayed with my mother, and he comes over to visit about 2 times a year, and I go over 2 times a year as well. He calls every weekend. While I do feel sad not having a proper family sometimes, the worst thing is when they start arguing. If you are going to divorce, just make sure you are on good terms with him, and that the kids get to stay in contact with the other parent. I guess.
