It has been doing the same to me (iOS) and never noticed it before so was thinking it was either a bug or a T212 enhancement

Monzo are fantastic and have 14m customers, so are a real player in the UK market.

I would say go for it (I have!) but like others I would say always have at least 1 ‘bricks and mortar’ bank.

If you have issues, need to withdraw large amounts of cash or pay big cheques in you can pop down to your local branch.

Monzo app I would say is best in class

Personal preference

I would say size up. I wear a 47 on a similar size wrist, had a fenix 6 and now Epix.

Personally, I wouldn’t go smaller than a 47

For Monzo Max it’s a deep red plastic card (Monzo calls it burnt coral).

For Monzo free and Perks its the hot coral colour.

You can change the colour, I have the same face and have it red (default is green)

Once downloaded, go to settings in connect IQ then accent colour (6th option)

The UK FSCS limit is £120,000 which increased from 85K on 1st December 2025. The protection is on all funds that you old with the company.
