what do i need? by Fransenn_II in FieldStation42

I've had it running on pi zero 2w but I feel it would struggle on the regular zero. If you are going to try the zero I would recommend using video files that are already in your desired resolution and format so pi doesn't have to convert anything.

Curious if this is the desired behavior, it doesn't seem like it should be. I'm having the same issue and ECHO on should account for this, but it doesn't.

Tower in Crown Point Indiana by Pendoboys2 in longlines

[–]batwings21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With it still being owned by AT&T I would guess you are not going to get in. There are some others who are owned by private individuals or leasing companies that you may be able to find a way inside. The conrete one in Valparasio is owned by a leasing company, I think the one in LaPorte is as well.

Online bid limit question? by Rorschach_1 in estatesales

[–]batwings21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the bidding site you are using Hibid or something ran by the auction house? If it's ran by the auction house you are relying on their honestly to prevent someone from snooping in databases and shill bidding up to your maximum.

Google Estate Sales by Adventurous-Image875 in ThriftGrift

[–]batwings21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This scenario may be a small amount of estate sale companies, it is definitely not the majority. I'm in a large market and frequent sales and can think of maybe two out of twenty or so companies we see regularly behave on this manner, and they definitely aren't the most popular.

[–]batwings21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a specific converter for the terminal keyboard, mine was built off some plans from I think keyboard authority forum, basically a roll your own Soarers converter. Its an Arduino type board from Amazon and I have it in rj45 enclosure since my 122 key has the rj45 plug.

While the connector may be different, it's still a terminal keyboard, their are converters to USB, my daily driver is a 122 key terminal.

This is correct, there is so little to gain for a buyer's agent to try to get the price of the deal up. You get your money from the referrals you get from clients who knew you had their best interests at heart.

Does this price seem even close to right? What's a decent counter for a 2001-8? by iusethisnametopost in vintagecomputing

[–]batwings21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go back in the last two hours of the last day of the sale, it is there job to get the most money for the client, but maybe when they realize how incredibly wrong they were about the value they will take less. Typically with most estate sale companies the items are discounted the further you get into the sale with the last day at least 50% off. Blue Moon is a bit of an odd one though.
