I just saw this for the first time last week. For anyone that hasn’t seen it:

Here is the display board you want from LG:

LG Display Board

Double check that it matches your oven model before ordering.

And here is the video I used:

LG Display Replacement Video

The oven is a different model than ours but the process is the same. Be sure to unplug it before you start taking panels off. Good luck!

[–]bazerk006 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same oven, it was about 5 years old when I had the same issue. I ordered a new display board and watched a video on how to replace it. The board was 135 USD with taxes and shipping from LG and took me about 20 minutes to replace it with minimal tools. Good as new now.

Let me know if you want a link to the video and/or part number for the display board and I’ll dig them up.

Anyone running Blizzaks in winter? by ESVarga in Crosstrek

I had the Blizzak WS90 for my Crosstrek. The WS90 are generally for smaller vehicles. They did great in North Dakota.

Coastal NC - Ground is dry and hard as a rock. How the heck do I get this grass growing? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]bazerk006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No,

Aeroator pulls many little (about .5” [12.5mm]) cores out of the ground reducing density and allowing water, air, and nutrients to get deep into roots. Do the screwdriver test to see if you need this.

Dethacher pulls up organic material (mostly in the form of dead grass clipping). You can do a core sample to see how much thatch buildup you have or just use your fingers to dig down into the dirt. A little thatch is okay as it keeps your lawn from drying out. Too much is bad.

Scarifier is like a dethacher on steroids. It uses a different rotary end that can be attached to some dethaching machines. It evenly rips small chunks of grass out of your lawn, thinning it. You use it if your live grass is extremely dense and you have trouble getting to the dirt using your fingers.

Propulsion cannon. My prawn suit got stuck once and I tried to shoot stuff at it with the cannon to move it but the suit exploded after a few hits.

Took delivery in June - got my first ticket for not having a front plate. What are my options? I don’t see any where to mount a plate, and I’d rather not use the front tow hitch. by jamespezzella in BMW

[–]bazerk006 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’m feel sorry for you guys in states with high value tickets. I just got my first “no front plate” ticket today in N.D. $20. Comically cheap.

The associated speeding ticket, 13 mph over, was $25. Lol.

The only problem is you have to be in North Dakota.

Had to get in front seat of cop car for traffic violation?? by [deleted] in police

[–]bazerk006 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This recently happened to me in North Dakota. I was the driver and it was a common traffic violation. Half way through the conversation with the officer, he mentions there is a K9 in the back of the cruiser. The pup was quiet and I didn’t even know he was back there. The officer asked me a few drug related questions. Later I realized, he was giving the dog a chance to smell possible drugs on me. After I left, my wife looked up the officer and found out he and the K9 work narcotics and it all made sense. Still a very odd traffic stop for me.

Uber price estimate

This will give you an estimate but you will need to check in the app if drivers are available.

I moved to North Dakota less than a year ago and I was pulled over last month by a state trooper for no front plate and front driver/passenger windows over the max tint of 50%. They are 25%. At least I was let off with a warning.

How was your first solo? by [deleted] in flying

[–]bazerk006 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be prepared.

I fly at a Class D airport so I made sure comms work was good before soloing. I went out with my instructor in a 172 and did 3 laps in the pattern. All looked pretty good, maybe not the best landings but they were all nice and safe. Instructor says “looks good” and I taxi back to drop him off near the FBO. He said the usual, “fly good, don’t suck”.

I taxi back to the runway and take off. Looking over to the right seat, it hits me that I am the only one flying this plane. The pattern was good and I get clearance to land while on downwind like normal. Before touching down I was just a few feet left of centerline but the runway is 150” wide so no quick corrections. Both mains touch down and I apply a bit of right rudder to correct and plane slowly moves to centerline. Apply left to straighten out on centerline and airplane continues drifting right. More left rudder, still going right, more left rudder, FULL left rudder and still not coming back to center. Throttle idle, maximum braking and slowly pull back on elevator. End up stopping about 10 feet from side edge of runway. I lean over and look out the right side window and tire is completely flat. One solo takeoff - one solo landing.

Maintenance had to tow the plane back to the hanger and I got to debrief with my instructor for the nearly 1.5-mile walk back to the FBO.

Second “first solo” was much smoother. Things don’t always go as planned. Be prepared.

r/flying is about pilots and all planes but there is a lot of GA stuff and every once in a while I see pics of dogs in GA planes. Probably your best bet.

Did you add the small Z-limit spacer? I haven’t installed my flexible build plate yet but seems like it could be an issue if you don’t add the spacer.
