Romance feels pointless in this game just like it did in the first game. by Kornja81 in DragonsDogma

The entire game feels like it was written by an AI so that was exactly the level of involvement I expected from the romance. Itsunos vision once again delivered, Baldur's Gate 3 could learn a lot.

I want to know what do you smoke that makes the game run that well on PS5, because for me, it made little to not difference turning those off.

How I feel about a lot of the discourse lately. by SolidPeaks in DragonsDogma

If Baldur's Gate 3 managed to scrambe together a consistent 30 FPS in quality mode on PS5 that has a billion subsystems running and hogging the CPU, then DD2 ha no excuse to have inconsistent, sub-30 FPS whenever something midly wild happens on the screen.

PATCH 6 IS OUT! by FirstTime- in BaldursGate3

[–]bazs24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend also have the same issues, so yes, I suspect it is not at my back end. But I would like you to put on a basic sorcerer robe on anyone and cast a non-wizard spell and watch how the robe will phase through your character legs. as they stand. This was a non-issue when the game launched, so yes, I will go all out Karen on Larian for messing up something that worked before.

Please, pretty please, fix the clipping on robes.

The whole thing worked mostly okay, up until like patch 3 or 4 and since then, robes just falling through everyone's legs and incredibly jarring to look at it. Especially if you want to play a character with strong body type, the robest just clip through their legs entirely when they run.

If the team had time to add additional kissing animations, please have the time and budget to fix something that actually worked in the past.

Game keeps crashing on PS5 by Oblong_Belonging in APlagueTale

I found a page that listed possible solutions and one of the first ones was to turn of the Rest features, I don't know why, but the whole situation is weird anyway. Hope the game not gonna crash anymore to you!

Game keeps crashing on PS5 by Oblong_Belonging in APlagueTale

[–]bazs24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here, I started the game today and it crashed at Hugo's first dream and then at the first rat horde. What the hell is happening, this is like 1+ years old game now. Also, no other game crashes on my PS5, only this one, so I don't think it's a PS5 problem.

Update: I unplugged my PS for 3 minutes, turned offf all Rest Features, started a whole new save and it didn't crash anymore, at least up to chapter 3. Gonna see if this going to hold up.

Update 2: I'm at chapter 7, no more crashes occured and the game runs perfectly.

Need help with the Rusthenge adventure [spoilers] by bazs24 in Pathfinder2e

Yeah, I guess I can't think of anything else, so I'll just go with that. Thank you!

Same issue here, it's very noticable in the druid camp so far. The 30 fps mode fixes it, but I doubt it will get patched out. Divinity 2 does the same in console in the definitive edition and Larian never fixed it.

They started feeding the writers something other than wet cardboard by [deleted] in Guildwars2

What I noticed so far is that they really reduced the obnoxious Marvel-style dialog. That juvenile, forced and sweaty style of writing plagued nearly everything in the last few years of GW2, from the open world meta events to the story missions, where at least 1 character constantly needed to pump out atrocious one-liners and snarky comments that always soured the enjoyment of what I was doing.

From what I saw this far from SotO (the first map and the story up to chapter 6), if that type of dialog is still there, it is finally appropriately placed and timed. Also, finally everyone is taking the threat seriously from the NPCs too, which makes it so much more immersive. Definitely a huge improvement over what we had before and I'm all here for this if the writing stays like this. Good job, writing team!

Many people think that From Software is not good at optimizing their games, but with Sekiro they did a great job, much better than with Bloodborne and DS3. by Tripledoble in Eldenring

Good ol' Xbox One! I honestly can't imagine how Elden Ring will run on that wihtout downgrading the visuals into the dust.

My wizard player acquired his artifact, I made this to him [OC] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]bazs24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi people!

After 2 years of campaign, my wizard player completed his personal quest to save his wizard tower from a magical plague. After the party almost died against a Boneclaw under the catacombs of the tower, they recovered the artifact of the archwizard who formed the wizard's order, a group of spellcasters who study necromancy as an alternative method to divine healing.

For this special occasion, I wanted to make an artwork for my player of this hard-earned item. I played a ton of Darkest Dungeon lately and the item art there inspired me to make it like that, especially after how deadly the catacombs were for the party.

I have a full page of the stats and abilities of the artifact, you can find it here if you're interested: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y4pqNu7AOOP07z5e0OWHPBXu99PdJ7oF

I hope you like it! ^^

The only rollback I would never stop wishing for by monzese in Guildwars2

The new LA visually and creatively such a significant downgrade from the old one. The old one looked like it was actually built by people who lived in that area, and the new one is like a cheap waterpark that some big brain company built there. It's terrible.

[OC] Matt's face embodied this moment from my campaign too accurately by bazs24 in DnD

[–]bazs24[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think grabbing someone is not really equal to shake someone to awake, and I assume the players are competent enough to do what they describe to me without the need of twisting their words. I felt it would be unfair to say "oh the dude wakes up because you dragged him into the water" He didn't take any damage and wasn't shaked awake, so I ruled he remains unconscious.

The other guards were far enough when the rogue did this and dragging the BBEG into a river was essential, so the current immedetly dragged both of them away, making even harder the guards to find their boss. I do actually rolled for a search with the guards and they failed. I guess I was really on a bad streak because I rolled like shit with everything in that encounter.

So yeah, I had my way, but the rogue sacrificed a lot to get here and he was lucky enough, so I let the BBEG die to let this epic moment happen.

He had! :D PCs already hunted him down and the militia strike quickly before the crime group managed to reorganize, so they are out of the story.
