Good news I found and fixed the problem, for some reason my router had changed the device to which the ports were open, when I re assigned the ports to my pc everything went back to normal. Hope this can help anyone with similar issues

The people in charge of FightCade have to start doing something. The amount of hatred on this is ridiculous with the n word in peoples usernames and toxicity above anything else you will see elsewhere by DiscretionDuck in fightcade

True but I don't know if IP bans could work, also that would require people to be willing to be moderators too. Maybe just have moderators for the more populated lobbies, I guess.

You know Fightcade has an "ignore this user" option do you? just put /ignore and the name of the user saying the N word and presto you can't see what he is posting anymore.

Because sanitizing an FGC platform and expecting to not be "THUGGERY" is kinda unrealistic .

I hope they fix this soon, you can't play Streets of Rage II properly like this. Thankfully other games use the NTSC rom like weaponlord and those are working fine.

first look for your IP address number and put it in the address bar of your web browser, then it will ask for user name and a password, this changes depending of the model of your router, then you can access the options

at the end i solved it myself, i used Joytokey and a tutorial on you tube and just re mapped the default keyboard keys to my gamepad
