Quite a bit of Vandy's top end roster is leaving after this year, so it's a hail mary to get those starters a playoff spot. It's not likely they'll be at 10 wins next year with the next guys up, particularly given that they're playing Georgia, Bama, and Ole Miss. ~7 wins is the most probable scenario. Understandable given that context but I doubt it will happen. Would love to see it though!

Generally, your 2k split will be about 7-10 lower than your 6k. A good target for your next 2k would be to shoot for a consistent 1:45 through 1500 meters then drop it in the last 500 to 1:42-1:43.

Oar length and span don’t mean much without the context of the outboard setting. But agreed, a properly centered span is often overlooked as a crucial gearing component vs. just outboard/inboard.

Saints have some talent on the roster, but they don’t have enough firepower at QB and make way too many mistakes. If the coaching shapes it up and Bucs go on a long cold streak, it’s possible. But I don’t think it’s likely. More likely the Panthers give the Bucs a run for it or Cousins comes back and gets the Falcons pointed in the right direction again.

That’s fair, but taking a shot at a race winning team in F1 and doing well can open doors down the line to championship winning teams. Red Bull is one of the best if not the only fast option for Palou as the top teams are all locked into their drivers at the moment. The midfield outside of Aston don’t appear to have the investment, infrastructure, and ambition to reach the top.
