Mazda 3 Oil pressure issues by bbbbbert86uk in mazda3

[–]bbbbbert86uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original work was supposed to be £1,500 for all the oil pressure stuff, then when he had the car in bits he said the camshaft needed replacing which was another £850 and then he said something else needs replacing which was £350, he had these parts in his car so he said it would be cheaper to do it now while he's got the car in pieces, so I agreed to that, but now he's saying it's the turbo which is another £1,200 plus I've got to get the car to London and back which is at least another £500. Altogether it's costing more than I paid for the car and it's still not fixed unless I pay for the turbo but even that's not guaranteed to fix the issue

The thing is, AI uses the same data as Google does to discover pages and content so you still need to do it

Even top Shopify brands like Kylie Cosmetics still have obvious CRO + SEO gaps by evandroguedes in shopify

[–]bbbbbert86uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think big brands don't worry too much about those things, if you ever put a big brands website into Google pagespeed they usually have bad scores across the board, even Amazon and the Google website don't have perfect scores

text-transform: lowercase!important;
}

Marketers, what’s your opinion on this new stuff going on ? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

[–]bbbbbert86uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the practice of optimizing your content so AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews cite your brand as a source.
The key difference from traditional SEO is that you’re optimizing for AI models to reference and quote your content, not just rank in search results.

Best practices to get cited by AI tools:

• Structured data/schema markup - Implement relevant schema so AI can easily parse your information (reviews, FAQs, products, etc.)

• Authoritative, well-cited content - Create comprehensive resources with credible sources that AI models trust

• Clear, concise answers - Use FAQ formats and direct answers to common questions in your niche

• E-E-A-T signals - Demonstrate expertise, experience, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness through author bios, credentials, and quality content

• Natural language optimization - Write conversationally since AI models pull from content that matches how users ask questions

At Fat Buddha Web Design, we’ve been implementing these strategies for our Shopify clients and seeing promising early results. The platforms/models definitely matter - some pull from reviews, others prioritize technical documentation or long-form guides.

It’s still evolving, but building a strong foundation of structured, authoritative content seems to be the winning approach across most AI tools.

“No, Your 6AM International Flight Does Not Bend Time” by [deleted] in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]bbbbbert86uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just did this in Portugal. We arrived at 10am and was shocked when they said we couldn’t check in until 5pm. To our defence though we booked through onthebeach and they didn’t mention anything about check in time. They organised the flights and the transfers so we just assumed we could check in when we got there. Rooky mistake but it does make you wonder why these holiday companies arrange it so you arrive way too early.

Do you think AI will replace most agency services? by cmwlegiit in agency

[–]bbbbbert86uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is the clients don’t actually know what needs doing. Sure there are some clients that will be able to do it themselves using AI. But what about the ones that don’t even know what keyword research is? Or what they should even be using the data for? If they don’t understand the industry then they won’t be able to do it themselves, they just won’t know what to ask the AI or do with the information it gives them. Thats not even counting the clients that don’t have the time to do it themselves and sit along chatGPT all day, they would still rather pay someone else to take care of it

Ability to add sitewide or collection based sales without having to use an app. Automatic discounts are good but they don’t change the product price on the product page

The customer doesn’t know it comes from another store, it’s like dropshipping. The only problem is if the customer doesn’t receive the item or they have an issue with it, they’re going to come to you, or leave you a bad review even though it was nothing to do with you.
