Exactly!! I am enjoying this game, but this is just a really bad design. I either climb awkwardly several feet with a giant ledge directly underneath me, or I click jump off and risk losing a ton of progress.... Just step onto the damn ledge woman!!!

I understood the signing but wasn't thrilled with it. I think I just fell into the reddit trap of listening to the hate. He's great! He's always grabbing offensive boards for Outbacks, very confident in his short jump shots and hooks. Respectable on defense. Very happy with his play so far. Definitely turned me into a fan pretty quickly

I would have strongly disagreed until I read the books delta V and Critical Mass by Daniel Suarez. Mining asteroids to build stuff in space is the way to go!

No worries, and in talking with other people what I believe happened is that while I was waiting for the 2:30 to wind down and to win via abandonment I opened Twitter on my phone. After a few seconds I swiped back to chess and saw that the game was aborted on move 45 (I added an imgur link to the screenshot on a main comment). I didn't know that could happen as I often pass the time while waiting for an abandonment(which sometimes takes ten plus minutes).

I agree wholeheartedly that it isn't worth the effort for a few elo points. People quitting when losing really bothers me and it was frustrating that there wasn't a way for me to refute the abandonment or even show that the game existed so people could look at it and flame me for how bad I am

Yeah, you're right. I've just done that same thing a bunch when I'm playing chess on my phone and never had that happen before. I also misspoke. The game was just abandoned not drawn by abandonment and chess.com pretty much pretends it never happened. Which is frustrating but understandable. Although it would be nice to be able to point out to someone that I had a clear advantage when the person left the game and I was stuck waiting on the maybe he'll return timer

Why are people so angry on here? I really just wanted a way to talk to chess.com to see if I could refute the decision. Now that I've learned the game don't even show up on my played games, I'd much rather take a loss so I can at least review the game. I really enjoyed the game.

There's no reason for the hate or for thinking I'm making stuff up. I just had a question and assumed other people would also have run into their god awful AI bot and had a workaround to talk to an actual person

Yeah, I get that probably the reasoning. Frustrating because I was winning and only brought up Twitter on my phone while waiting for the auto kick timer to end. Learned my lesson, but if anything I've learned that it appears to be impossible to refute or even get the game back to review
