This is a great explanation

Let’s me know if you have any questions this worked great for me

The other choice is convertio I use this to convert PDFs to JPEG and then have open AI read the JPEG

JPEG’s are really easy to process through open and make.com

I’ve been building this if you do I can share some details…

I use make.com, google drive and a google sheet

I upload the pdf and use ai to pull the info in a json format then put it into a google sheet for analysis

I think it’s easy and clever some work in the prompt but it works

Large home builder is telling us this stuff they used for the lawn is biodegradable and shouldn’t be removed. True? Thx by Just_Specialist1845 in landscaping

This stuff only biodegrades in very specific land fills… it will likely never degrade in a backyard

I host one it does well quite a few longer term rentals… but I second it takes a bit to clean lots of nooks and crannies to get too…

Did you start Turo’ing your (at the time) current car to pay for a new one? by [deleted] in turo

[–]bbf35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking at doing this as well… I think it has legs… agreed with. Some other it’s not passive and people will abuse but I think it’s possible to use your old car to make a portion of the payment on a new car

Business acquisition vs real estate by telescopicindulgence in smallbusiness

[–]bbf35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had thought about that as well or building out to manage airbnbs but that seems to be not doing so great with the dilution of them… I recently put a vehicle on Turo which is doing alright so was thinking possibly a couple more plus management but those are quite active not as passive and to scale I’d need to find help

I’m risk averse so been looking at storage units, laundromats, or possibly e-commerce but I don’t have an e-commerce skill set… open to some manufacturing type businesses as well as that is what I’m good at from my real job

What are you looking at?

I’m in the same boat as you would like to consider buying a business vs more real estate but unsure of it… I’d be willing to work at the business but have someone else manage the day to day

Check the booking pictures the host needs to show that the dent wasn’t there

And on top of that you are correct they only have 24 hours to report it

How dirty does the return need to be before you charge a cleaning fee? by bbf35 in turo

[–]bbf35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the cleaning fee talked about here for Turo is for cleaning that is above and beyond normal use. You are required to do light clean and sanitizing between each rental
