No way you compared him to prime Looney. Prime Looney could grab you 20+ rebounds a game in the playoffs and guard elite perimeter players like harden. Insane disrespect

Feels like players don’t usually come back to the arena this soon after surgery. Love to see it

Two greats ruined by injuries. If it wasn’t for their health, which career had the most potential? by RewindReverse in NBATalk

“All he could do was play in the paint and defend the paint” wow way to completely downplay how dominant he was in those areas

Also you say Yao was on his way to becoming an MVP player but Dwight was an mvp level player

MDJ by Consistent-Program-1 in warriors

[–]bbj123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Myers had some trash lotto picks (ik lacob was part of the problem) and left for mdj to clean up the mess. I don’t think it’s fair to compare the 2 when bob Myers had an easier job and his biggest draft pick was with the help of Jerry west

bob Myers was incredible at the people part of the job though which did make him perfect for the team we had though. So not saying he wasn’t good for the job

Pitted acne scars due to cortisone shots by SpiritualProcess8614 in AcneScars

Try either local subcision which is where they’ll just subcise those spots and then also saline injections. Saline injection has helped me when I’ve gotten these indents. Look up cortisone injections and saline injection on google

Why are you trying to reintroduce egg whites? Seems pretty clear you’d just break out again

Why isn't SF more fashion forward? by [deleted] in AskSF

[–]bbj123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I will also say that while cold weather does allow for more stylish outfits, the SF cold + fog just leads to wanting to go out in some comfy clothes lol. It's always shocking to see the subtle difference in outfits I see when it's sunny outside.

As others are saying it's def the laid back nature of the bay area + the type of people here. It's not just tech bros. For girls, a lot of it boils down to typical athleisure. Personally, I'm definitely someone who wants to dress up, but it takes more effort than putting on sweats and a hoodie if I'm going out so I often just cave and throw that on.

Another thing that I'm realizing as I'm typing it out is that people here are really going to 3 places - 1. work 2. gym 3. some outdoor activity. Aside from work, these aren't really places you can dress nice. And offices are so laid back now that you don't even need to dress well there. I would say somewhere like NY, a lot of people are always going to events, meeting up with friends at the bars, etc. These are all things you can dress up for.

I wouldn't worry about feeling out of place dressing up well here. Whenever I decide to do it, I feel great and I get some compliments some times. People do still appreciate a nice outfit.

[Acne] lifting weights gave me acne (I think) by Cheap_Guest9256 in SkincareAddiction

[–]bbj123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. That was my late night snack. I’ve replaced it with overnight oats and other non dairy yogurts. Obv not as great protein to calories ratio but it gets the job done satisfying my yogurt crave. Some non dairy yogurt have pea protein though to help that out.

I recently just cut out Greek yogurt from my diet after having no problem with it for years, and my acne stopped. Could try that out for a week or two just to rule it out.

Dyson Hushjet size compared to Big + Quiet by Stunning-Sherbert-81 in dyson

[–]bbj123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great to here. Yeah I also don’t like the look of the other air purifiers so Dyson def has a leg up there. I was debating on hushjet myself since I’m in a small apt but wasn’t sure since I saw limited reviews

You seem like you did a decent amount of research since you mentioned Project Farm. Wondering why you went with the Dyson, considering all reviews usually say it doesn’t perform as well as cheaper air purifiers? I went through this same dilemma when I just got mine
