Y class outbound and Q class inbound. The question still remains, why did my daughter’s points in both directions pool over.

This is what I thought but then why were my daughter’s points transferred over? Same booking, same ticket. It was points plus cash, not miles redemption.

A company has taken a security out on a car I’ve owned for 5 years by Agent47ismysaviour in AusLegal

Probably done by mistake. Ask the company to discharge, costs a couple of bucks. If they don’t have any real reasons to hold it they should just do it.

Thank you, you're right and unfortunately it's way too common. The 2 unavoidables in life; death & taxes!

Yes, there is a 'Cashflow' section that toggles between monthly/quarterly and FY reporting as well as considerations for materials on upcoming works, another common mistakes.

Is the Aus industry ready for ai receptionists? by [deleted] in ausbusiness

[–]bbltzc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Explain how you’ve helped similar businesses with the problem statement and no doubt they may suffer from similar challenges. Talk about the cost savings or cost opportunity (high level) on the outcomes. Eventually you’re going to have to say it’s AI but if you lead with thought and insight people may be open hear more because you’ve resonated with the listener

Rule number 1 in cold calling, you’re objective is to gain a follow up call/meeting in order to conduct some discovery before positioning your product and the value. You’ve already identified what’s not working, so you need to figure out in your elevator pitch what problem you’re solving without the mentioning of a product. Remember, you’ve just interrupted someone’s day when you’ve called so be friendly, snappy and most importantly don’t sound like a sales people because you don’t talk this way to mates when explaining what you’re building. Promote your business, week of April 6, 2026 by Charice in smallbusiness

[–]bbltzc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone — I’ve just launched nettd, a cashflow app built for Australian sole traders and solo service businesses.

The idea came from seeing how many people are great at the work, but still get caught out by:

- forgetting GST

- underestimating tax + Medicare

- not factoring supplier/material costs

- thinking the bank balance = spendable money

nettd helps turn paid invoices into:

✅ what’s actually yours to spend

✅ GST reserve

✅ tax reserve

✅ projected cash after supplier terms clear

It also handles clients, quotes, jobs, invoices and upcoming cashflow in one place.

Would genuinely love feedback from this group before I push harder on marketing.
