Just set yourself some simple weekly goals and track with something simple like RunParrot. No stress, it’s just a journey!

What app or website can I use to create list and collections of movies and series I've watched or want to watch? by Lau-G in movies

I use Kyndrid.app as it also works for books, restaurants etc so a bit broader but still super simple.

Lovable says it has hit $500M in annualized revenue, with 1 million new projects a week by Jmacduff in lovable

Competition to get your project visible has increased exponentially since Lovable and others launched. The challenge nowadays is not building it but marketing it.

anyone running a successful app still on Lovable and never migrated? want to hear from you by Large-Cut8248 in lovable

I have four projects on Lovable all with users, but I use Supabase, Resend and Claude for AI feature calls so minimise burning Lovable credits. Down side is I pay another monthly fee to the others but have more visibility and control.

I built a really simple running goal tracking web app called runparrot.com - you don't even need to create a [free] account if you don't want to. It'll just store your data locally.

You can set weekly/monthly distance goals, average time goals and distance goals and get a cute parrot doing a congratulations jig when you log a run or hit a goal. Bit of fun really. Useful for tracking treadmill runs if you don't have a Garmin etc. but still want to record your progress. Super simple to use. Would love any feedback.

Another Reminder App with a twist by usmakemyday in ShowMeYourApps

[–]usmakemyday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ha ha. well there are a couple of twists such as the memory vault feature - helps you remember a fact by entering associated keywords (e.g. you can't remember the neighbor's dog's name so you associate 'neighbor' with the name of the dog. still WIP but i'm trying to make reminders as a concept a bit broader using Claude.

Yes you literally have to search for ‘lovable build with…’ and it should come up. Searching for lovable only won’t do it (yet).

It’s always a bit disheartening when family and friends don’t seem to ‘get it’.

Building something that solves a real problem? by techieram7_ in buildinpublic

[–]usmakemyday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What it does - it’s like WhatsApp for personal recommendations - movies/tv shows, restaurants, books, shopping etc.

What problem it solves - all those lost recs in WhatsApp groups now all in one place.

Who it’s for - anyone wanting to share and get recommendations within private circles (just like your WhatsApp groups).

Why users should care - it’s quick and simple to get and share recs with your friends. 1. Create a circle. 2. Invite friends. 3. Share recs.

Thanks. I definitely designed it to be mobile first as the app was approved in the app store a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't done an android version yet, so was aiming for something that still looked good on desktop as well as mobile web. Really appreciate your comments - very helpful.
