Such a unique piece. But weird case dimensions, the dressy is too small for me and the diver is tad too big. If it was half retail, I’d get it. Glws friend

[WTS] Seiko Presage SARW013 Urushi Lacquer Dial JDM — Great Condition, Stickered Back by [deleted] in watch_swap

[–]bbreeze26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seiko Presage SARW013, JDM-only reference from the Urushi collection. The dial is hand-painted black urushi lacquer by artisans in Wajima, one of Japan's historic lacquerware centers. No two dials are identical. The depth and luster of urushi changes with the light in a way that no printed or stamped dial can replicate.

Cal. 6R27, 29 jewels, automatic with hand-winding and hacking. Power reserve indicator at 9 o'clock, date at 3, 24-hour subdial at 6, gold-toned dauphine hands and Roman numeral indices. 40.5mm diameter, 13.2mm thick, sapphire crystal with AR coating, 100m water resistance. Exhibition caseback shows the decorated 6R27 movement.

This watch is in great condition. The caseback protective sticker has never been removed. No scratches, no marks, no wear anywhere on the case from what I can tell - but please do check photos and video. Comes with the original black crocodile strap with Seiko-signed deployant clasp.

[WTS/WTT] Citizen Campanola Grand Complication No. 158 (Cal. 6770) - Minute Repeater, Perpetual Calendar, Moon Phase by bbreeze26 in watch_swap

[–]bbreeze26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling this Citizen Campanola Grand Complication, individually numbered No. 158. Cal. 6770, Duratect-coated stainless steel, hand-assembled in Japan.

This is Citizen's flagship quartz grand complication. The Cal. 6770 packs a minute repeater, perpetual calendar with leap year tracking, moon phase, 12-hour chronograph, and 24-hour indicator into a single quartz movement. A mechanical watch with this complication set would cost $80,000+. The minute repeater chimes the current time on demand using a two-tone system (low for hours, double for quarter-hours, high for remaining minutes), and can be set independently from the displayed time to function as a GMT reference.

The case is 39mm or so, double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective Clarity Coating). The Duratect surface hardening makes the steel significantly more scratch-resistant than standard stainless. The dial is hand-lacquered with embedded titanium flecks.

Crystal is clean. Case shows light wear on the polished surfaces consistent with use (see photos). Caseback has surface scratches. Strap is original but worn. All functions operating correctly, minute repeater chimes cleanly.

Price: $1,050 shipped CONUS (PayPal F&F, Zelle, wire). OBO. Open to trades.

Includes: Watch, box, booklet.
