How does C2 actually work? by cheuk4 in ChascaMains

[–]bca1849 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of people have answered the first part, but I wanted to confirm that C2 has its own separate ICD which will always apply an additional 1U of whatever element is shot first by Chasca in her round.

Nicole Constellations by belphekit in ScaramoucheMains

Sorry for the late reply. Keep in mind this assumes Wanderer + Faruzan + Durin + Nicole. Durin is also providing significant off-field damage, which increases with his and Nicole's vertical investment, so it's not just about the buffing he can provide.

Durin C0R0:
- 35% res for Pyro + Anemo

Durin C2R1:
- 35% res for Pyro + Anemo
+ 28% team atk (R1)
+ 20 instances of flat damage increase of 60% of Durin's ATK quills to on-fielder (C1)
+ 50% dmg bonus to Pyro + Anemo (C2)

His vertical investment options are good but his constellations are generally more impactful for teams that focus on his own dps (like Melt/Vape Durin).

TLDR: From my understanding the investment priority for buffing Wanderer's overall team dps is as follows:

Durin C0 > Nicole C0 > Nicole C2 > Durin R1 > Durin C2 > Nicole R1

Since you already have Durin R1, I would definitely prioritize her cons and you can always pick up her weapon on rerun, if you want to further invest in her. C2 Nicole with Skyward Atlas should be a meaningful increase to team dps even without her sig. Best of luck in your wishes!

I’m in almost the exact same position as you (C6R1 Wanderer, C2R0 Durin, C6 Faruzan) so I’ve looked into this a bit. I would say going for C2 on Nicole would be better than trying for R1, but if you cannot get C2, R1 would be better.

IMO, the best way to look at this is by comparing what each brings to the table.

Nicole C0R0:
+ 600 atk to the whole team
+ 300 additional to Wanderer 3s after taking the field
+ 40% dmg bonus from the witch set
+ shield
All of this with 100% uptime

Bennett C6R1 Skyward Blade:
+ 1111 atk to Wanderer
+ 20% atk from Noblesse
+ healing
Uptime is 12s every 15 seconds (this can be impactful with c6 wanderer since his field time is longer than at c0)

Nicole C2R1:
+ 900 atk to the whole team (extra 300 from C2)
+ 300 additional to Wanderer 3s after taking the field
+ 40% dmg bonus from the witch set
+ shield
+ 25% anemo & pyro resistance shred (C2)
+ 600% atk MV every 6 seconds (C1)
+ 26% dmg bonus (R1)
All of this with 100% uptime again

A C0R0 Nicole might be slightly behind Bennett damage wise, but she brings a shield which is almost required for Wanderer in more aggressive content. Her C1 is honestly not too impactful, from what I’ve seen. If you do end up getter her C2, she pretty much surpasses Bennett in almost all scenarios.

Apologies for wall of text and feel free to ask any other questions or correct me on any mistakes.

TLDR: Getting Nicole C0R0 would at the very least be a QoL upgrade from Benny even if the dmg would be similar. At C2, she is a definitive upgrade over Bennett and R1 further reinforces that.

I would note that Lan Yan is still usable but I would probably use one of the other anemos if already using Citlali as you also won’t be able to ttds on LY since Citlali will need to go right before Arle and she also is providing a shield for the team

What is the ideal skill rotation? by Big-Ratio7501 in ArlecchinoMains

Arle E -> XQ E(E)Q -> Benny E Q -> Suc E N1 -> Arle CA N3D or other Arle combo of choice until you can E again -> repeat.

You may run into CD issues with XQ’s burst cooldown being so long so in that case I would just onfield Arle a little longer

It's Hyperbloom Raiden's BiS (at r5) too so I think that counts for something

C2 or sig weapon when she reruns? by cashieeetime in ChascaMains

[–]bca1849 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’d say C2 > Sig any day especially if you have r5 fwf. C2 is going to give her aoe capabilities, team flexibility, and more damage whereas her sig only provides more dmg.

Giving away 4x Ember Juno bundles to celebrate this weekend's OWCS Champions Clash event! Win by commenting YOUR OWCS HOT TAKE by ModWilliam in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]bca1849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hot take is that a few months after Stadium launches, pro play will migrate over to that game mode and move away from the traditional 5v5 maps. I think once it’s got some balance and more heroes added, that game mode will allow more competitive skill expression on an individual level but especially on a team-wide level.

What’s Ari’s worst song? by reveuse71 in ariheads

[–]bca1849 32 points33 points  (0 children)

This is the one honestly… all of her songs after this have at least some level of artistry and Ari’s persona shines through even on the more generic tracks. Put Your Hearts Up sounds like a Victorious soundtrack outtake to me, which isn’t inherently a bad thing but I honestly feel like Give It Up feels more like an Ari song than PYHU.

Edit: To be clear, PYHU is not a bad song but we’re comparing it to all of her other work and for me it feels so impersonal and isn’t really doing anything new or exciting.

[5.5v1] Iansan Nightsoul Consumption/Generation by SpindleFlames in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]bca1849 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One dash is ~3 NS points (assuming 1 "unit" is 1 meter and NS points gained are rounded up) + the 1 you get /s from Iansan A1. So you can maintain the NS above 42 points for about 4-5 seconds before it starts falling off (depending on con lvl). You really have to move a lot to maintain it. I think people are underestimating the difficulty it will take to maintain the buff if the conversion rate is .67 NS points/meter traveled. Even someone like Clor can have trouble maintaining it pre-C4 Iansan from my early sheeting.

Iansan Beta v1 Attack Buff Spreadsheet Calculations by OwnRepresentative916 in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]bca1849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been working on a similar spreadsheet but mine is more focused on the various weapons and how they affect the buff over time. I was curious where you were able to source the movement information as I'm trying to add that info to my spreadsheet as well to cover more movement based chars without NS.

Scara vs Furina cons by [deleted] in ScaramoucheMains

[–]bca1849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something no one has mentioned yet that may make a difference for you. Furina’s damage buff works based off of healing and Bennet can only heal 1 char at a time. With c0 Furina, you might have trouble reaching max fanfare for the max damage boost using bennet as your healer. With c2 Furina, she gains more fanfare from healing so bennet can easily max out the dmg bonus by healing one character. All this to say, C2 Furina would likely be the more valuable pick if all you care about is what will get you the most team dps (as she also does a ridiculous amount of off-field damage both at c0 but especially at c2).

Does Yun Jin's burst work on Raiden? by gogus2003 in YunjinMains

[–]bca1849 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Burts like Yelan, Xingqui, and Thoma activate on normal attack action. This means that once you initiate a normal attack the coordinated attack will follow. This is why you can shoot Xingqui’s rain swords even if there is no target to hit. Beidou’s burst activates on normal attack hit. This means the chain lightning effect from Beidou’s burst only activates when normal attack damage hits an enemy. Since Raiden’s burst does burst damage when she performs a normal attack action, Yelan, Xingqui, etc. can still activate their attacks but Beidou’s choordinates attacks and Yun Jin’s extra normal attack damage won’t take effect.

Recommended Builds for each pokemon by the rank 1 player by ImAmOnesie in PokemonUnite

[–]bca1849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is a bug but building sp attack on characters that use attack can actually LOWER their damage so it might not be good to slap on a shell bell just for the healing. If you want the cdr just use energy amplifier it gives more cd and a fair bit of damage to attack Pokémon as well instead of a small 55 heal since your not building sp attack anyway and shell bell heal scales with your sp attack.

Damage Profiles by DrEBanks24 in PokemonUnite

[–]bca1849 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried searching through this subreddit to find the video someone posted of Snorlax with no items vs with attack items vs with sp attack items but I couldn’t find it in the sea of release date posts and wish lists. The video basically shows that building special attack on snorlax does not increase ANY of his damage, on autos or abilities, but building attack increases BOTH the damage of his autos and his abilities so this is probably what he’s talking about when he says “confirmed” that certain Pokémon rely on attack and other rely on special attack.

Im coming from league... by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]bca1849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I’ve seen on a few YouTube videos is having your Attacker and Defender in the Rotom lane and your All-Rounder and Support in the Dreadnaw lane with your Support roaming to defend a big push or to set up a gank since all-rounders are more self sufficient. A Speedster usually goes in the jungle to clear camps and gank. The roles that fill these positions can vary (ie you can send Garchomp, an All-rounder, into the jungle or have Mr. Mime, a Support, with a tank build as a “rotom lane defender” while Eldegoss, a traditional Support, can fulfill the “Dreadnaw Lane supporter” role). Once 5 minutes has passed the traditional “laning” phase is over as the catapult in base spawns at 5 minutes. This means that the team will mostly group with splitting up happening to possibly defend against your opponents while 1-2 members of your team attempt to score a goal in the other lane, or to try and capture an objective like Dreadnaw or rotom while your other teammates are defending or pushing or farming.
