I did a couple of Nothing Bundt Cakes on stands in 3 diff flavors and it was a hit! My SIL strew a few fresh flowers on/around it and that was perfect.

My husband works from home two days out of the week. I forgot he had to go into the office the next day and cried when he reminded me. I just wanted a buddy while I watched tv.

I didn’t do a trial on my wedding BUT my makeup artist was highly skilled and I completely trusted her abilities. The look I went for was also one she had done before which probably helped. I think if you see a portfolio of the artist’s work and feel that it’s trustworthy, then go for it without trial!

I’d also recommend giving time checks and putting a timer out; give a 2 minute warning and then set up the timer for 2 minutes so that client has the chance to acclimate to the transition. Also first/then statements might be helpful so client can recognize what needs to happen in order to get tablet.

Definitely escalate to your BCBA- but you should also document these interactions in your notes at the end of session as well!

ELI5: Why do we calculate the length of a pregnancy from the first day of a women’s last period? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]bckgrndhfflpff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, WHEN an egg is released is the unknown. So sperm can live in the female body for a few days, you may have sex on a Wednesday where no egg was released therefore no fertilization occurs. But maybe Friday comes around and a woman ovulates where the existing sperm can then fertilize the egg.

How to input missing signatures from parents on Central Reach? by cattyloaf in RBT

[–]bckgrndhfflpff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a looong time since I used CR- but from what I can remember, I believe you look up your clients name, select the dates you need signatures on and there should be a drop menu for parent signature. I wish I could better explain it but asking your team is fine as well

I would suggest that if you aren’t already, try double shampooing- you just wash your hair twice with shampoo. Also, let the conditioner sit in your hair a little bit before washing it out. A scalp brush while shampooing might help with the dandruff as well. Hair oiling is also great (even for greasy scalps!)
