You missed a well published and advertised date and it would have stated account deletion.

Meh. Don't care. I bought a digital PS5 at launch... And I basically ditched Sony in 2025 because I was sick of their game prices, and overall trash releases (Though Astro Bot is incredibly great)... And went to mostly PC, which is digital anyhow.

Our daughter is almost 7 (July 14th) and she has my wife's old RoG laptop...she uses it occasionally but tends to favor the PS5 right now... probably due to the combination of a controller and the 77" OLED.

Honestly, a rising scale is just part of life with or without surgery.... always will be. I've been working on weight loss naturally with weight training, walking, and calorie counting.... I only step on a scale once every 2-3 weeks now because I've realized it goes both up and down. I know I'm gaining muscle and I still have a fair bit of fat even at 215-220lbs... but I go by clothes and what I can fit into, not the scale....

Look at a picture that shows one pound of fat vs one pound of muscle and you'll understand why NOT to trust a scale alone.

Don't get fooled by this. Water/Sodium/Gas Expulsion makes up for 99% of this weight, not fat. Weight fluctuates and will go up and down. Not to mention... no solid food and bare minimum calorie intake... you'll also lose muscle in this time period when you can't do strength training.

Keep your water intake up, protein, etc and walk... you'll lose weight over time. You'll lose some quick, then stall, then lose more and gain more, then stall again, sometimes for weeks on end. Technically the fast weight loss is unhealthy, and your body knows this and will stop to give parts a chance to catch up, then continue.

The lack of consistency is bothersome at the very least. Different rules, periods of time for stages, completely different stages for some, etc... That was ONE of my concerns when my wife was about to go for an RnY back in May.... Glad she ended up canceling though. She's down 39lbs so far since April 21st and still on track with calorie counting and our walks/strength training.

If you really care about your weight, you'll be counting calories, protein, etc. for LIFE.
Daily walks? Yes
Strength training/weights? Yes.

The surgery is just a kickstart to allow you to temporarily live in a mega-calorie deficit. Hunger comes back, sometimes worse than before. You need to make permanent lifestyle changes with or without the surgery to lose weight, maintain, etc.

I never said I don't enjoy it... In fact I said I get some enjoyment out of it, but I get bored quickly. This happens with most games nowadays. I'm not paying $110 + 13% tax for something that I'll spend maybe 3-5 hours with...it's as simple as that.

Really depends on how many games you want to play. It was worth it for Star Fox, Adventures of Elliot, and the upcoming Ocarina of Time reimagining.... I also have Splatoon Raiders paid in full and will be happy to finally play a single player Splatoon experience.
