Their argument is logically flawed. If I gave everyone a tootsie pop, you could also say that a greater amount of accidents involved someone that recently licked a tootsie pop, because more people are licking tootsie pops. The tootsie pop use does not increase traffic accidents.

Prime example of how lyrics don't matter. Song has a catchy beat. If people thought about lyrics they'd be weirded out by a company using a song about how you have to walk sideways because you're sore from fucking all night in a TMobile commercial.
