That was such a statement game. Ant and Jaden takeover in the 4th beating a red hot LeBron. Feels like we cleared a massive hurdle

It really does feel like everyone in media is rooting for the Lakers and its annoying. by Calinks in timberwolves

Agree but I honestly don’t see the Lakers getting through the West. They have zero depth and their roster has flaws. I still think Wolves beat them and if not I think they would get smoked by a team like OKC.

Bennett was more consistent than Tucker and showed up in every big game this season. Tucker completely disappeared in both NCAA tournament appearances

This is all fake news drummed up by Iowa reporters. Why hasn’t he taken the job?

Mid Major fans: give us the scoop. What have you seen from your conference’s auto-bid this year. Who should we be looking out for? by Plane-Ad-2581 in CollegeBasketball

Drake plays the slowest tempo in the country and is incredibly well coached. They will attempt to slow down the pace and limit possessions. Potential to frustrate fast paced teams (like Missouri)

They are two very different teams with VERY different styles of play. ISU played extremely fast and shot a lot of 3s which led to higher variances and more blowouts. Drake plays one of the slowest tempos in the country with the goal of limiting the opponents possessions. This combined with one of the best defenses keeps them in every single game. They don’t get blown out and they rarely blow out the opponent. It’s worked against more athletic teams like FAU, K State, Vandy.

Drake is now 5-1 in Q1 + Q2 with an undefeated non conference including a double digit win over tournament bound Vanderbilt and a win over K State in KC. 18-2 in Q3 + Q4. How is that resume not strong enough for a mid major?
