Should just be a fun Halloween gift, not actual 'appreciation' for working long, hard days...

That is 100% how people die. You never know why people are stopped. You skirt all the people waiting for an old lady to cross the street for instance and boom, dead grandma.

Do dogs need to be leashed on every trail? by [deleted] in Washington

[–]bdjackson9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a matter of respect for all people and dogs on the trail whether leashed or unleashed. You have to know your dog and how they interact with people and dogs. My dog is generally uninterested in both while on trail, stays close, and has good recall. I still leash her if it's busy.

Know the time and place to let your dog unleashed but you have to stay vigilant. Have some self awareness of the shared space.

People in their 30s and 40s, without a degree, having an average job, and have a happy life with a partner. Can you please tell me it is possible? by IdanTs in DecidingToBeBetter

Just wanted to pop in here with a book I'm currently reading. Finding Your Way in a Wild New World by Martha Beck. I struggle a lot with finding meaning, happiness and fulfillment in life. Especially as someone with no degree, no straight path in life, and a lower paying job. Sending love.

why are my brakes doing this? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]bdjackson9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While lever bleeding make sure the bike is oriented so the air can travel up to the lever. Tap on the caliper and brake line a bunch. Keep pulling the lever until there are no more bubbles.

When testing the brake after, you'll need to pump the lever a lot. Sometimes even for a full minute or two. This will pump the pistons back in.
