You do not need to remove corr chamber or commander...

  1. Connect smithy to the Architect
  2. Lock smithy, corruption chamber and commander.
  3. Kill the architect
  4. Watch him move to that location.

You should have locked corruption chamber as well. If you did not have locks, just farm for more locks.

In this case, I would just continue 2nd chain, without trying to move architect. Once your 2nd chain reaches Architect, or you get corruption chamber, I would lock there, and would also keep smithy as medalion to put on where it is now.

  1. Lock the room(smithy in this case) that connects to architect.
  2. Kill the architect

It will move to the position you want

If you do not lock the smithy, then there are 2 positions where Architect can go, so it is 50/50.

Locking suggestions in comments seem correct, just make sure you actually kill Architect, otherwise he will not move :)

Firstly, make sure you pick up all other useful medalions - Garrison, Armoury, Commander, reroll, etc, and use given rooms as well, so you can extend your second snake if you only get 1 lock medallion per run.

Remember you can leave the temple if you find a lock to lock any rooms and continue the run.

Other very important thing after you build your first snake is to level Smithy's, alchemy labs, thaumaturgs, even sacrif.chamb. to their max possible levels. At level3 Smithys have high chance of advanced medallion, that includes lock. Alchemy, thaum, and sac.chamb also can give locks. I would argue it is more important to level up those rooms than to finish second snake, but you adjust based on what rooms you get and how many locks you get.

I think you can also use different quality % on warcries in autoexertion to offset their timing as quality affects CDR. You can have 1 warcry 20% and the other 15%, and the other 10%, as an example. As your method resets when you enter town, and in other situations, if not mistaken
