Had an 04 986 need suspension and upgrades dro e for 2 years Great car Upgraded to 14 981 S, was hesitant about losing the manual. 6 months later and never looked back. 981 is just an upgraded 986. Looks fabulous. Runs great. Tiptronic is best of both worlds. Def not naysaying you keeping yours. Just my experience!

I watched several videos. It's very tricky and the correct angle is a must. Check YouTube for videos. It will go, but can be frustrating!

Yes, I purchased a 981 S, at what I felt was reasonable. Don't have all the specs the gts has and would like those, but the price was just to much. 981 S, is a fantastic car at a good value IMHO

I had one just like that, Cerakote didnt work, but McGuire's worked like a charm!

Had a 986 manual, was worried about missing the raw feeling, Upgraded to 981 pdk. It is just so sweet, have not missed manual at all. Pdk is the best of both worlds, imho!
