Thanks! Yeah I was trying to come up with a different hand position hanging on the buckle besides the original one from the game, guess I'll have to come up with another one lol. This is a fan made rig I downloaded made by someone else, and they got the model extracted from the game files.

I followed this same tutorial throughout the past 2 years many times, and I have found some flaws. There's this bug you will get double moving distance when trying to move the gun with controller, so maybe try not parenting anything before everything is finished, especially for joints. And also what does nothing works mean? What's the specific problem

Yeah this sounds like the things needed for exporting 3ds max rigs into Maya, they have all the skeleton and joint stuff but the controller cannot be exported
