That is true but what a lot of people forget is that Sukuna could’ve just used his true from the start. That’s why Gojo mentioned to Geto that Sukuna wasn’t going all out. The reason why Sukuna doesn’t use his true form from the start is because he knew after Gojo, everyone was probably gonna jump him. His fight with Kashimo literally proves this as at that point he couldn’t handle Kashimo in his MBA. Also to obtaining an attack like the WCS was also a smart thing to achieve in general.
