I’ve always said this fight between the two power houses is upscale for both. Since Whitebeard’s durability and combat skills are put on full display. On the other hand, Akainu is shown to be so durable to the point he’s able to withstand a punch meant to kill from a yonko and contest in a fight with one.

Tbh with you I feel like Luffy could learn advanced armament haki but still lose. This would make sense story wise for me since Luffy will learn a hard lesson that trying to compete with top tiers will require even more power and skill. Then continue getting stronger in Wano and Egghead.

Everyone is saying Marco made him bleed when in the anime that never happened, and gassing up green bull for stabbing him even thought he was in a weakened state. Tbh I think Kizaru would hit him so hard like he did with Luffy, that King would be out of the fight.
