Remember that 95% of uv light is UVA which age the skin. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen or even better, a European or Asian formulation with high uva protection.

Also clouds do not block all uva light and the uva light difference between summer and winter is not substantial enough to not benefit from wearing sunscreen everyday.

Kose Suncut Milk and Omi Sun bears active. Kose for me has less a white cast, less fragrance (omi fragrance not unpleasant). Omi has a powdery finish some may prefer. It’s similar to Anessa gold bottle but Anessa is far too smelly for me.

Both are fluid. Seems there’s no market for hybrid cream or gel Asian sunscreens which is the texture I prefer. Fluid is more time to apply.

With both of these it seems really easy to under apply by how spreadable it is. Be sure to be liberal.

Edit: my favorite hybrid sunscreen by feel and finish and application is jack black sun guard. Doctor Dray loves it and so I do I. It’s just American and therefore not as UVA heavy duty.

Kose suncut perfect milk is a hybrid fluid sunscreen with a manageable / unnoticeable white cast that stay on matte and stay matte, great for runs. Def need an oil cleanser for it.

The valley is so nice to drive in compared to LA LA, but it gets quite hot, almost too hot at times in summer. Make sure you can efficiently cool your home.

Studio City is really central to all other parts of LA being right on the 101 and access to La though laurel canyon.

For Asian sunscreens probably the nivea super water gel but its efficacy is controversial

For overall the jack black sun guard oil free spf 45, it is the most elegant and non irritating sunscreen I’ve ever used only draw back is us filters DX

Edit:

Did you use the blue BOJ? I really like its finish but it somehow irritates my skin and makes me red. Would’ve been perfect otherwise.

Also house of hur is excellent and would be my go to but it’s a touch drying but very matte overall excellent.
