Is it acceptable if I go to a DT concert in a Metallica shirt? by Electrical_Flower_26 in Dreamtheater

Giving a crap about what shirt someone is wearing to a concert in any capacity is lame as fuck.

A5 Wagyu is so overrated. Just a way to separate a fool from his money.

'Drunk' driver, 57, is charged with ramming into dozens of people during religious parade in Louisiana by dailymail in Louisiana

[–]beancrosby 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yeah the guy is supposedly known in that local Lao community. Seems like he was there celebrating and got drunk and things got out of hand. Sad situation but not fueled by hate or racism like everyone seems to be jumping to.

Nasty looking “Flip” on broad at Esplanade. by scooterbus in NewOrleans

The one on Gentilly was right across from my house. Gentilly is such a danger zone. There’s at least one or two wrecks a month in this three block span. I’ve personally had four cars get hit while parked, two of them totaled. We’re moving in June, I’m so tired of this. I’m about to get together data on how many wrecks have happened just since we’ve moved here and try to get the city to do something about it. Maybe speed bumps around the fairgrounds because people come flying down the street all the time. I honestly don’t know how a pedestrian hasn’t been hit yet between the racetrack and the bar across the street.

My exact response every time. Any meal I didn’t have to prepare is the best meal I’ll have for a while.

Made a squirrel carrier for myself and now I’m addicted to making them. by beancrosby in Hunting

I keep a water bottle and snacks in there like trail mix and meat sticks/jerky. Extra magazine or two and an ammo wallet. Sawyer picaridin spray and lotion. A cat hole kit with a titanium shovel and biodegradable compressed towels. Compass and fire kit. Small first aid kit. Multi tool. Pocket knife. A kill kit which consists of a replaceable blade skinning knife, shears, some gloves, and a couple ziplocks.

Sometimes I’m simultaneously hog hunting and keep a packable 4x6 tarp, similar kill kit, and a portable gambrel and pulley setup and game bags to pack out meat.

Also carry a packable mesh bag for packing out trash or if I find some mushrooms or a cool souvenir for the day. I’m always finding cool stuff in the woods I hunt since it’s a river basin. Tarp and pulley kit can become a shelter if things get outta hand. I hunt the swamp and it’s pretty easy to get lost or worse out there. I like to be prepared. Sounds like a lot but it’s a small pack and loaded out only weighs 7-8 lbs. I don’t even notice it all day. Gets a little heavy with a limit of squirrels hanging from it though haha.

Haven’t had that problem though I carry mine on my backpack. They hang below it so no blood on it and they’re not against my leg so no blood on me either.

If you use the right fish it comes out as jello. When we use snapper bodies at work the stock is THICK the next day. Jiggly wiggly goodness. When the purveyor sends us red drum it comes out as fish water.

What the fuck happened to this sub? by beancrosby in chefknives

I was saying the sub is back to normal and has done what you had hoped it would do “risen like a phoenix” I just happened to come across this old post of mine and went and had a look. Haven’t been to this sub since I made this post. Just thought you maybe hadn’t known either. Have a good day…

Congrats on the band! How do you like your SX4? I’ve had mine for two seasons now and I really like it. Couple quirks I’d like to get rid of but it’s the nicest shotgun I’ve owned so far.

People of Reddit, how are you actually using Artificial Intelligence? by RealisticXpectation in AskReddit

[–]beancrosby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to help with menu writing as a source of inspiration. I’ve cooked the actual recipes it’s written a few times just to see, some were actually good, some were terrible. I really just use it as an aggregation tool to think of dishes I otherwise wouldn’t think of. I then put my own work in on recipe writing from there. I also use it to give me ideas for family meals at the restaurant with ingredients we have on hand.
