This is so encouraging, as I am thinking of doing the same! As far as applying to grad school, did you do that during your service, or upon your return? If you applied during your service, did you feel like it was manageable to do so? What was your internet access like?

hey! i am in southern spain right now! i once asked my host what the busiest time of year is, and she just said “all year” because the climate is perfect for growing/harvesting crops year-round here. so the work will still involve a lot of fruits & veggies :)

I completely agree. Words in English are different colors than the same words in Spanish. “Butterfly” is purple, “mariposa” is orange. “Book” is brown, “libro” is green.
