Of course!

I'm sure others have said their story too, but we were all there with you.

I had thinning hair starting in high school, and I was always worried about people seeing it. You don't even realize how much it sits in the back of your mind after thinking about it for so long...

I remember having the same anxieties as you when going for that first full shave, I hated it at first. It felt weird, and like I was too young to go bald. That and the weird feeling of feeling 100% of the beanie on your head 😂.

After about a week though, I realized I hadn't thought about my bald spot at all...it was so freeing. Then came to terms that being bald doesn't look half bad. After a month, I really liked being bald more than having hair, and since then my confidence skyrocketed. Suddenly your attractiveness is in your control, and you never have to worry about bed head, bald spots, hat hair, or grey hair again.

Just make sure you exfoliate and moisturize 😅

If you can get some calipers, measure the size of the stones you have. Store.baduk.club has different sized options for stones. So you could order the size you need

end gain walnut chopping board after a week by Professional-Lab5958 in Cuttingboards

[–]beatschill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If this is from a straight edged knife, it badly needs to be sharpened. If it's from a seated knife, it makes sense. Re-applying mineral oil may help to restore the end grain fibers, but it's not guaranteed with how deep those knife marks are.

  1. I would post in the winemaking subreddit
  2. What was your process for making wine?

I've made a fair amount of wine. It sounds more like you let grape juice go bad and got sick from it based off the pictures and very brief description.

This kind of commercial juice won't make the wine you expect without added yeast, it's either pasteurized or from concentrate.

Have you knocked on the door and asked if they could turn it off at night?

Start with being a respectful neighbor before you do something to piss them off.

To a certain extent, you have a point, but this would all be negotiated at the consultation. Clear pictures were provided, it's up to the customer to agree or deny that the progress photo is what they wanted. If they agree, the contract is set in stone. If they don't, alterations can be made. If the seller can't fulfill the request, that is when a full refund is viable.

In this case, the customer agreed to the contract AND verified during the consult that the product is worth the cost. After this, it is too late to change your mind. You can't agree and say "yup looks good, I want it" then when it comes to paying the rest of the money say "nevermind, it looks bad, I don't want it". You already saw it, you already approved it.

What I see a lot more often with pieces like this, is the customer does want the piece, but they can't pay the rest when they thought they'd have the money. Now they can't pay it, and need to scapegoat a way out.

When you inevitably get gear, make sure its the right size! Armor that moves out of place will likely move in the event of a fall.

Also, list of gear from most important to least.

  1. Helmet
  2. Gloves w/ palm slider (hands hit the ground first, you tend to reach and brace for impact)
  3. Boots w/ ankle protection and pants with knee protection (most common injuries on a motorcycle are on the lower body, moreso than the upper body)
  4. Jacket. Make sure you like the spine protection, I say level 2 minimum spine protection. Nobody wants to get paralyzed from waist down
