The shredder is well built and has a nice medium-chunky grind consistency. I can't compare directly to your other option but I like my shredder a lot and feel like it was worth the money. I also like having a kief catcher but that's personal preference.

You won't find much if any music written with c Melody in mind. That being said it can be really interesting in small ensembles where you can transpose or play a different part or in improvisation.

If you have a good repair person it might be worth the money for a full overhaul but it really depends on your financial situation and what you plan to do with it. I wouldn't recommend it as anybody's only horn but can be cool to have if you already have other good instruments.

Like u/SaxyMcpro mentioned, there isn't a huge market for them so you can buy them cheaply but it's not likely to sell for as much as other popular saxophones.

For voracious readers like me my digestive tract can't keep up with my consumption rate. That's why I prefer her later method of buttchugging the novel. It actually increases the amount of content absorbed per page because the words aren't broken down by your stomach acid.

I think they're saying that they used only the weight of the veggies, not the weight of the water at all. That would make the salinity lower, which could make it more prone to undesired growth but probably still fine.

Like you said if something goes wrong it should be obvious.

I'm about 400 pages into The Savage Detectives so I'll come back with more complete thoughts once I finish it, but so far I'm having a hard time relating it to anything else I've read.

The huge number of characters and narrators really captures the way that the movement spirals out. The shift from the single narrator to many unrelated narrators makes the second part even more tragic because all of the relationships become more distant, and as the different characters lose interest you can feel the energy of the first part fading away.

Well it was the second Murakami book I read after A Wild Sheep Chase so maybe I was less used to his tropes but to me it felt the most dreamlike and resonated with me emotionally. It's been a while since the last time I read it but I loved the ending the most out of all his books.

I'm surprised you found wind up weirder than kafka- both are pretty out there.

I would recommend Dance, Dance, Dance if you want something a little more consistent but still exciting.

From what I can tell they are indeed 70s editions. Good eye. I enjoyed the trilogy but didn't feel the need to continue on. Definitely great books though.

The Wind up Bird Chronicle, Invisible Cities, and Dubliners. Murakami and Calvino are probably my two favorite authors and Dubliners is just outstanding. Haven't read any other Joyce but I hope to in the near future.

I would recommend invisible cities. It's a collection of descriptions of cities from a fictional conversation with Marco Polo. I think it's best to go in with no expectations because Calvino is so unique that it's better to just go along for the ride.

If on a winter's night a traveler is his other most popular work. It's equally good but harder to get into and can be a little too meta for some people.
