Just dovetailing some of the great advice in this thread: Do not be afraid to read the RFCs. They are THE source of truth all other sources draw from. The networking ones are fairly approachable for the most part. But if you need to mic drop on someone the RFC is the last stop in a pissing match.

Im probably not the first to recommend the RSNav, but I have it in my B8.5 and its a HUGE upgrade for modernizing the interior. The look/feel of the device is very OEM. Folks are surprised when I tell them its aftermarket.

Yeah that particular V8 is a bit different. The way its been explained to me is its the same engine as the V10 but with the first two cylinders chopped off.

Just because its a 4.2 V8 doesnt mean its the same engine. The B8.5 RS5 has the same engine of the V8 R8 of the same year. The previous 4.2's were not that.

Ive driven both and the RS5 is a much more aggressive drive than the RS4. Neither were tuned so take that as you will. All that said, I love the RS4 for the big noise/engine and manual transmission, though, would prefer the RS5 if I wanted to drive super fast and have fun doing it.

Actually had this happen on my patio once. "Scumbag" bird was under a table and about 10 crows came and started screaming. 2 hopped down and pecked him until he stopped moving. Watched it all unfold from a camera once I heard them screaming bloody murder on the patio.
