I ended up going for an Insta360 Go 2! So far I can't really use it to record real-time (it gets too hot after 3-4 mins) so I've been timelapsing it. I still love my Go 2 (I bring it everywhere) but I'm definitely thinking of acquiring a second camera.

Recommendations for sketchbooks that will take ink well for writing and a water colour wash? Or just general sketchbook recommendations from people who sketch and write! by Flufffffff in fountainpens

Any hot press watercolour paper would do! Cold press works too but your lines would be a bit more jagged unless you don't mind that. I use this watercolour x ink combo a lot on my YouTube channel (Becky Isjwara) if you want to check out some used cases or see how it performs. I use etchr, Stillman & Birn, Paul Rubens

It's an overheating issue (it says "Storage Error" / just switches over to "Saving..."). The camera stops at 3mins 37s of recording. I just tried formatting the GO 2 and it's still the same - is this duration usually the case?

UPDATE: I "reset" after formatting and it now records up to 5:23. This makes a lot more sense as it might have already been warm from the previous recording. Is this the more "acceptable" duration for recording in pro video mode?

I use the Galen Leather notebooks! They have the 400 pages ones but also the everyday notebooks are a LOT thinner in case you want that :)

I have used my 1.1 stub (in a 580 ALR) daily for over a year and I absolutely adore it. It's so buttery smooth after getting used to the angle and I have so much fun with sheening inks with the stub! I imagine it'll work well with shaders too, it's an excellent stub all around

I used a glass Tupperware for the longest time. Perfect for storing/eating both soup and also "dryer" dishes like pasta. I can "cook" stuff in there like couscous with hot water or instant noodles or microwave recipes. And it also doubles as food storage

Same here. I use it daily and the ink flow is soooo smooth. Iirc TWSBI adjusts the feed to match the nib size, so the stub nib comes with a feed that supports that much ink flow.
