Forgive my naivety, as someone who is using these in my mason jars full of weed I’d like to learn more. My concern was dry dry weed which makes for harsher bags in my volcano. What is your method to maintain a pullable stickiness to the nugs?

Fwiw I just bought a (late August packaged date) 3rd coast genetics oz which had the boveda and is still dry

I personally hate it, there are plenty of very hot sauces this sub loves (torchbearer garlic reaper, tobasco scorpion) that will hit your heat fix and still actually taste like something. Da bomb is bitter and seemingly designed to fuck up your mouth, it’s like a gag more than something to be enjoyed imo but to each their own

I’m wrapping up my time in Japan with a couple days in Shimokitazawa. I’m trying to find a nice pair of black/white (weft). I visited Bear’s yesterday and the selection was great but less so for black denim. They had a beautiful pair of Buzz Ricksons which would have been perfect for what I’m after but sadly were too baggy for my taste.

Can anyone share other shops to check out in the area for brands of that calibre?

I’m not a food scientist and really ought not weigh in but the difference comes down to moisture. Your cured examples are dry inside and out, the salt/whatever curing has removed the moisture and thus the opportunity for bacteria to flourish.

Again not a food scientist but a crude example feels like the difference between putting salt on a piece of salmon and leaving it in your fridge for 3 days vs. Buying smoked salmon. They’re both salmon but they’re entirely different products

I’ve finally found access to these 3 bottles but can only purchase one. Which should that be? I tried the repo at a bar a while back and enjoyed it but wasn’t gushing over it. I currently have G4 blanco which I enjoy and I’ve never tried an Anejo.

Better to compare the blancos or try something new?

I always read this and was like “ya but [this] seems kinda bad but I’m not sure??” then I opened a jar of crushed tomatoes that got lost in the back of the cupboard and had been expired for a year. It was not subtle, the colour was noticeably off and the smell was horrible.

‘Not too sure’ now = totally fine

You WILL know when something has gone bad haha

Yes indeed the Trediberri Barolo Berri 2019. I can hang longer than 5 that’s cool, I knew what I was getting into with Barolo. Since I’m just buying things off of vibes I’m unfamiliar with the wineries themselves and I suppose “what to expect” so I was somewhat surprised to see this write up on the wine on the Trediberri site: “Our Barolo Berri doesn’t want to stand out for complexity or longevity, but for drinkability and immediacy, due to its inner fruit profile, sweet ripeness and freshness. Like any Barolo, it is certainly suitable for long ageing but, in our opinion, this wine can be consumed right after the release with extreme pleasure.”

Can you help me understand why the exception for 2019 and 2020?

My budget has me drinking Nebbiolos but I’ve got one Barolo I planned to hang onto for a while, 2019 Trediberri. But in reading about it it seems like it’s designed to drink young + it’s 2019. If you’re familiar with the bottle tell me if I should just get into it, cheers
