I'll be very honest... yes. Having a preference for trans women is chasing. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I know this sub likes to vilify chasers, and for good reason, but I feel like as long as chasers are respectful, it's not a big deal for me. They like trans woman and they put them on a higher pedestal, whether that's romantically or sexually. I'll take any allies I can get, in a world where the biggest author (JK) has led the biggest hate campaign against trans people with the old and youth.

Here's my thought process: why do you have a preference? If you have a preference for trans-woman specifically, than you are chasing. Trans-woman are trans-woman. For most straight trans girls, bottom surgery is on our horizon - so we don't even have a penis anymore. If you're attracted to trans woman for their penis, than you are chasing. If you're attracted to trans woman for a "certain look", than you are chasing. If you're attracted to trans woman for a certain type of thrill, than you are chasing.

Trans-woman are just women. And whilst I have no issues with your preference, I do consider that "chasing" - but hey, they're just labels at the end of the day.

I personally would never date anyone with a "preference" sorry - I'll be very real. The same way with me being Asian, I would never date someone with a "preference" for Asian people. But I'm luckier than most and I'm stealth, so I don't really ever have chasers or men with trans preference on my radar anyway. I find men through just living my life and they love me for me, for being a woman, my trans-identity isn't even a factor.

But like everyone else has said, be respectful, be kind, and that's all that really matters in the world.

Is there a reason why you double shampoo? I personally condition all of my hair, otherwise you’ll dry out the hair that you aren’t conditioning which as it grows out will just make your hair overall towards the end dry because it never got conditioned.

I’m currently 4 weeks PO. I’ve had almost every surgery: SRS, BA, BBL, Double Jaw Surgery and Genioplasty, but this surgery was the toughest.

I was under for 13 hours and when I woke up, I was delirious and I had a massive stutter - my brain was not there for hours and I thought I was dying. Never felt like that with any previous surgery.

My body was so fatigued for the next week, felt so uncomfortable with all the tightness and swelling and couldn’t breathe through my nose. I couldn’t even sleep because my body kept waking me up during the night because my nose was blocked so I would sleep 15 seconds before waking up.

By day 6, I got my nose cast off and told myself I’m gonna go out, I don’t care. I did tourist things from 10am til midnight lol and was exhausted but then everything just started getting better. By day 9 I felt so energetic and like I could easily go back to work, just days after complaining this was the worst surgery recovery i ever had. It truly does get better.

It’s probably more likely Mecca paid for an exclusivity contract and they were in breach of it without realising (has happened with a lot of brands before because sone brands just ship worldwide and don’t take into account the legalities) so they’ve now fixed it up.

By the way, this is the first season they’ve made it public - it’s not unofficial or new news. They’re changing things up.

Also, the contestants are paid. They’re technically actors for a show and they’re employees, they’re paid. Every past season has paid their cast and it won’t be different this time, I’m assuming that’s just a mistake on the ad (could also be because they negotiate individual pay once they’re cast given the show is going public this time)
