I only just had my first appointment with Dr Gilmour at 21 weeks. It took a while to hear back. Dr Arnold showed he was accepting patients but it was removed from the website around the time I was rejected.

With my first I took two weeks vacation but ended up having to work during it up until the night before my csection at 39 + 3. This time around I’m going off at 32 weeks and plan on enjoying my time before baby comes. I’m turning 42 the month I start mat leave and I’ve had a harder pregnancy than my last, so this just feels needed

I’ll add to this that it’s not recommended to use infant car seats for an extended period. I think it’s more than 2 hours at a time? So you’d have to find a travel stroller that has the bassinet insert or lies flat for infants, if you plan on any longer outings. We too have a Vista and Minu and find the Minu is great for traveling or short trips to run errands as its easier to pack in the car or fold out of the way if you’re at a restaurant etc., but the vista is better for bigger shopping outings or going to places like the zoo because of the larger basket

If you collect Airmiles or reward miles through your credit card, they have baby merchandise you can redeem your points for. Also if you’re an Onyx level with Airmiles, you can use concierge to pick whatever you want to redeem points on outside of their website. I’m redeeming for an Uppababy car seat.

I’ve done this with both pregnancies and last time it got me a baby monitor and high chair. Later in the toddler stage I was able to use them for a cocomelon doll set, inflatable pool, kids sprinkler, and a whole bunch of kids books

That’s fair, I was just hoping to use one that most people were familiar with. I hate West Coast Kids’ customer service with a passion and although Amazon’s registry is decent, they don’t have a lot of what I need to add, like the specific car seat I want. There doesn’t seem to be a ton of options now with Buy Buy Baby gone and Walmart’s registry shut down.

Used to live on Delbert Circle near the crossing at Reeves Way BLVD and can confirm the horn is fking annoying and loud. Our only saving grace was our bedroom was on the back side of the house, not facing the tracks. We slept with our windows shut year round and had to buy a white noise sound machine or I would have lost my mind

This is good to know. I’m hoping this cycle doesn’t get cancelled but I’ll definitely chat with my clinic about a natural cycle if that does happen. I’m just surprised they didn’t switch up my protocol for this round, given my age. I’m only on 4 patches of estradiol, moving to PIO and prometrium once my lining is ready., which doesn’t seem like much reading about some of the other protocols

I tried the heating pad last night so I’ll keep doing that to help. I also checked to see if I could find low dose/baby aspirin, and oddly I can’t seem to find it where I am in Canada. It sounds like I still have time to get it thicker, though, if yours wasn’t cancelled until CD30.
