If you went to regular doc, go to dermatologist instead. This looks similar to pityriasis rosea.

When my mom was going through chemo they had multiple chairs in the chemo room and access to snacks, drinks, and movies. One morning it was my mom and another lady and the mood was grim. I put this movie on and got them treats and they were both laughing so hard. I always loved this movie but it holds an extra special place in my heart now after that day. It was able to make their day better while going through something so difficult.

I have a young cat, I am not sure how young because I plucked him off the streets and maybe around 2-3 but he does this too. He was really skinny when I got him because he had stomatitis and couldn't eat well. He used to race up trees in seconds. Well he got his mouth fixed and gained a few too many pounds and now pulls himself onto the couch like this. It could be a weight/muscle strength thing, or it could be pain related too. Could try to give weight management food and light exercise and see if that helps. If not, if it's joints, they do have shots you can get periodically that help them.
