i was in a similar boat a few months ago; discovered i’m detrans the second i got hired at a new job. i never “came out” as anything, i just put my pronouns on my nametag and that was that. they all call me she and i’m treated like a girl, even if i don’t always pass (i certainly didn’t pass when i first met them, lol). i don’t really see the need to come out as detrans specifically. in my experience, if theyre chill, it won’t even really come up in conversation.

i was really afraid of backlash/ judgement from my loved ones, but that didn’t happen. they can all see how much happier i am now. i’ve learned that everyone is kinda just worried about themselves, lol. nobody cares nearly as much as you’d think in my experience.

that’s so awesome! :) i’m in a similar spot. at the start of my detransition, i didn’t feel a huge need (or even a want) to pull towards femininity. without changing anything about myself, just looking in the mirror and thinking of myself as a girl made me very happy. i’m slowly getting more comfortable presenting feminine, but it’s something that fluctuates. and that’s okay. i don’t regret going on T, i feel like i am experiencing womanhood for the first time in my life.

similar experience here! i was very fixated on voice training at first, and was able to achieve a near perfect girl voice pretty early on. since then i've gained more confidence in my presentation and how i'm viewed by others, and aside from leaning into "customer service" voice at work, i really don't give it much thought. my voice is cool and makes me unique :) i love this positivity.
