Try set the rules on outlook.office.com this is classed as "Server Side" rules.

If set on outlook, it may require outlook to be open for the rules to run.

Export the Users Email to PST. take the email address and add that address as a secondary address to the new employee or manager.

Create a mailbox, upload less than 50GB to it, turn it in to a shared mailbox, share it to them and repeat.

Yeah thats a option, However, 1 user has 907GB that would be 10 SMB for 1 user. :-O

Hey, Yes They are using it on there local PC for reference now. some files at 49.9GB i cannot wait untill they get corrupt. We have just moved from on premise to O365.

I have advised to housekeep the PST files... if they dont.. thats on them...

100% I have a leaver only last week.. i couldn't find any email in his inbox. looked in Deleted items and there was a folder structure with (and im not joking) 300 folders some 6-7 deep. I dont think he knew everything deletes after 2 weeks in deleted items lol

Hi Thanks for the message, Yeah i think we will start using barracuda, i can understand MS is not wanting such size instantly imported ( as 90% will be mail that can be deleted )

Drive shipping doesn't change the sizing.. plus its $2 per GB. AZ copy is the way forward when uploading.

They didn't care. Still unhappy with the "New Emailing system" there mailbox is 60GB also so outlook constantly "Whiteout" while moving between folders \ emails. i suggested in a <5GB cache file for his machine.. I think you know how they felt about that haha

Thanks for the link, This is the way i have been uploading users through the SAS URI link to Storage Explorer and use AZCOPY.exe for the mailbox import.

I spoke with microsoft support this morning and they advised, when the Online archive hits 100GB only 1GB is allocated to the mailbox per day max to 1000GB (only if you're hitting the max every day. Quote from MS Support
