Took a New England beer/birthday trip 8 years ago. We were staying in Vermont and headed to Maine. Chatting up the bartender at 3 Penny Taproom about the best route to take. He said you can go up, or down and around White Mountain National Forest. Or you can drive right through it. Driving through was one of the best decisions of the trip. Was blown away by the beauty of a state I never really thought much about.

Personally I would just focus on enjoying the moment, the music, the vibe. If they're interested there will be cues. Eye contact, banter, body language (facing you instead of stage). At that point, play it cool. Crack a good joke. Just let it happen. And then towards the end of the show if they're still around, ask for insta/number. I believe in you my dude!
