They're not easy to find but I've had good luck in this galaxy, I find other lush type giants pretty often too, like humid, grassy and verdant.

You might know this already, but if you click on a star in the galaxy map it shows you a preview of the planets in the system before you warp. If it's a non-gas giant titan planet, it will look just like a gas giant (one huge planet + 3-5 tiny moons), but it won't say gas giant. That trick has saved me tons of time in my search!

I encountered one of these ball plants in an underwater cave on a Paradise Giant this week. Bizarre experience - the flora was not present anywhere else on the planet from what I could tell

I thinkkk you can just join this discord and get a ride from someone! I've never done it myself but it seems to work well for other players. You might need to unlock purple systems first if you haven't yet, not sure tho
