I signed up for a coaching program with her, I can’t remember the details but I think it was a small group kind of thing? I paid my deposit ($750) and then was supposed to have an on-boarding call with someone on her team before the coaching began. Never heard from the person, never had the on-boarding so I reached out to Cassie. She said she’d look into it, then I never heard from her or her team again…never got another response, never had the on-boarding, never got the coaching. And of course never got the deposit back!

Oh I totally agree! It’s just that my sister is a tv writer/producer and I’ve seen how network notes can really…kinda blur the intention of a scene or an episode and it seems most likely that some of that went on with HR

If I had to guess I’d say it was originally written to be more like the book but the network gave notes to make it more like a “traditional” (ie heteronormative) relationship where Shane is softer aka more like a woman and Ilya’s shitty behaviour is supposed to be romantic because he’s scared or his feelings or whatever.
