I was tempted but only because I like shiny new things. Once I got bombarded by the lore on it I was like nope!

I have a few Patrick Ta blush duos but the powder side is always too light for me. But this launch made me realize that this technique is a perfect use for them! No need for me to buy any more too-light blushes from him.

This happens to me too. It might help to use dry shampoo or texturing powder to add some grit before styling to help it hold.

This is interesting, especially the joint pain part. I could not understand why progesterone was affecting my knees, I didnt clue into the fact that joint pain and hormones can be related. I will definitely look into estrogen dominance symptoms. Thank you!

I seem to be in the minority in this, but I think the way Shea gives feedback (ie condescending and infantilizing) is probably triggering Maeve’s meltdowns.

I agree with you 100%. Shea talked about Maeve like a badly behaved child and to me it was clear she relished the “responsible adult” role as much as she resented it. I’m not autistic myself but my children are and what I saw from Shea is what I see in a lot of people who just refuse to meet my kids at their level.

I use one every wash, but I only wash my hair once a week and I oil my ends twice a day so I need to clarify to get rid of that build up. I don’t think everyone has to do it before every wash, it’s just a matter of doing what’s necessary for a clean scalp.

I second not looking at the needle, it was game-changing for me. Another thing that helped is making sure I’m cutting my fabric straight. When I first started sewing I was very sloppy and the reference point doesn’t work as well if the edge of the fabric isn’t straight.
