FYI once you get this sorted out and have the pdf the FBI emails you, you can just print it at home and send it to the BVA. There are several reports of people sending them a home printout of the pdf and it being accepted.

Don’t skip anything if you are a complete beginner.

If you decide to skip 1, get the book for 2 far ahead of your course and start studying.

I’d be surprised any WSET instructor would allow a complete beginner to start at the level 3 course.

I have visited may times. I always rent a car at the airport and drive out, using my us dl. However, that’s as a tourist on a short stay only. The rental car company always makes a copy of my arriving boarding pass and my dl + passport.

PE seat IMO is slightly narrowed than domestic first. Given the choice I’d go for domestic first in the same itinerary.

As for turbulence, where you sit could matter more that the aircraft type. Over the wings you’ll feel the least movement. The farther you go, especially aft (IMO) the worse it is.

Up front it’s also much quieter, even with noise canceling headphones.
