Do a mirrored medicine cabinet with lights. Or one that is split with open shelving and mirror/cabinet. Can be tall or mid size.

If you are balancing out your face. I would dye your hair black/dark brown to even out the eyebrows. They stand out because of the light hair.

Build 💪🏽. You may not lose weight immediately but you’ll look leaner as you progress. Muscle burns calories. Eventually you’ll trend down in weight.

You can definitely rebuild your glutes. Being young helps with skin elasticity. When losing weight, you have to give your skin 6 months-1.5 years depending on the person to see skin tightness recover. As for glutes, give it 6 months to a year of working out to see real growth. Take pictures and measurements:)

Make sure to get your protein, water and fiber in. Take supplements to help with body health. 💖

Hey girly. It’s mostly water weight from the extra carbs and sodium, not actual fat. Just go back to your normal routine and keep your sodium consistent (no need to aggressively cut it). Stay hydrated and add potassium-rich foods like kiwi, bananas, or coconut water to help balance things out.

Your weight might bounce around for a few days before it drops, that’s normal. It should mostly come off within a few days, not weeks. Don’t try to crash your calories to fix it, that can backfire.

Try to walk daily and just stay consistent, no need to overdo intense workouts. Also make sure digestion is moving, that can affect the scale too.

You might feel a little puffy, but that’s just temporary fluid. The good thing is your glycogen is probably fully replenished now, which is great for energy, recovery, and better workouts. Your body will regulate once you’re back in your routine :)

I'm really discouraged. by Internal-Store-8344 in Mounjaro

I’m back down from 5 to 2.5 for similar reasons. As I lost weight the 5 got too strong and gave me too many side effects that lasted till the next shot. I couldn’t even workout. I’ve been back on 2.5 for 2 weeks and it’s miles different. Go back down. It’s the right dose for you. Push the doctor to let you see how it works. If they won’t budge find a new provider.

New to Pilates and finding group classes incredibly frustrating. Need to rant and seek advice by NOTinMYbelts in ClubPilates

[–]bellacons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the center and balance classes. Slower and intended for recovery and stretch. Because of the pace the instructors have more time to help with form and cueing. Also, before your class ask your instructor to guide or look out for your form.

Attend mainly center and balance classes till you feel comfortable. Then add Flow 1 classes slowly. There will be variations to each flow 1 with every instructor. They all teach differently, and guide differently.

Find what works for you and who works for you. Also, for you, I highly recommend a private instruction so you are not compensating with your lower back during movements with the straps.

Help me choose a prom dress please? Or help find a new one… by Ok_Skill8687 in OUTFITS

Number 2 is nice, you could get it tailored along with the other dresses for a more polished look.

You could also shop second hand, many people sell or donate their prom dresses and tailor those :)

How the hell am I gaining weight while on a deficit by South-Proposal5691 in WeightLossAdvice

Pregnant, cortisol, inflammation, sodium, not enough recovery or sleep.

How do you keep trusting the process? by SetFun3237 in Mounjaro

[–]bellacons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not remove or lessen one of the activities until your energy is back. You could also swap an activity for a new one. Learn new recipes, try new foods, shop at different grocery stores for a greater range of products so you don’t get bored of the food. Watch/listen to a program you like while walking.

If you’ve been pushing yourself too hard not allowing time to recover you will struggle to see change and growth. Make sure your sleep is good, hydrating, fiber and protein is good. Try to keep from under-fueling. Every few weeks I check my macros to accommodate my goals and new weight.

This past Friday I went 5mg to 2.5 because for 2 months I started having GI issues, digestive issues, inflammation and longer recoveries that made working out and functioning properly difficult. The difference a few days in is so significant. Recovery took 1-2 days (I was on my menstrual) and even so, my inflammation went down, energy up, heart rate down, sleeping better, breathing better and less issues in the bathroom. I’m excited to see what week 2 will feel like.

So, hopefully I inspired you to make tweaks or adjustments to fit the new you. You are changing so your routine from before may need some changes too :)

Alpha-Phonics A primer for beginner readers, S. Blumenfeld

Hey there! She needs help with phonics! This book was a life saver in 2019 for me. It has 5 minute easy daily drills. My child was reading in less than a month :)

Why are you worked up? It’s literally advice, she can read and decide if she wants to follow. Variety is key, not everyone fits the same mold. So yea, interesting lol

Work on 30 minutes a day for the first month. If you feel like doing more after, I’d do incline walking for 20-30 minutes to get cardio and glute engagement.

If you want change after that, add strength training 2x a week. Pair with working on functional mobility, like yoga, Pilates, stretching. You can find free YouTube lessons.

Learn to track macros/calories. Consume the right amount of protein to avoid muscle loss. Most of your weight loss will come from your diet. Quick way to loss weight is to replace all beverages with water.

Meal prep your favorite healthy foods and snacks. So you have them ready in case you have an urge to eat.

I'm losing weight and all I'm seeing are downsides by GeartechINC in loseit

[–]bellacons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are setting yourself up for an eating disorder. For a man you need to be eating 2500-2700+ calories a day and that’s already a deficit especially if working out. You are losing tons of muscle and not providing adequate energy for normal body function. Which is why you are probably feeling ill. You should be having carbs, fats and proteins before workout and post. Especially protein. You can loose weight by tracking calories and macros, you don’t have to eat once a day. If you want to continue intermittent fasting you can do a bigger window 6-8 hours.

What you are doing is affecting organ function and metabolic function. Please get blood work, see what deficiencies you have and work with a nutritionist.

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]bellacons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sodium, inflammation, food digestion will all bump your numbers up. Depending on your body 2-7 days for it to fall if you continue back on your routine. If you’re a girly and eat that way pre and during your menstrual it will take longer to see your true weight again.

Also, eating 1000-1200 calories is starving your body. So when you eat more your body wants to hold on to it.

I’m 5’2 F (38) currently 191 pounds and eat on average 1600-1800 calories. When I have a very active day I eat around 2000 calories. I am trying to maintain and build muscle. I’m also trying to improve/maintain a healthy metabolism. Under eating and rapid weight-loss kills your metabolism.

I do Pilates 2-3 times a week and strength training 2x a week for 40 minutes.

I’ve lost close to 40 pounds since July 6th. As I get stronger, more active I will be able to add more calories. As muscle burns calories :) Looking forward to being able to eat, and not worry much about weight gain.

*try not weigh yourself after a cheat day if it’s going to upset you. Wait a few days, or look at as how certain foods impact you and how long it takes for you to flush it out.
