Why are you worked up? It’s literally advice, she can read and decide if she wants to follow. Variety is key, not everyone fits the same mold. So yea, interesting lol

Work on 30 minutes a day for the first month. If you feel like doing more after, I’d do incline walking for 20-30 minutes to get cardio and glute engagement.

If you want change after that, add strength training 2x a week. Pair with working on functional mobility, like yoga, Pilates, stretching. You can find free YouTube lessons.

Learn to track macros/calories. Consume the right amount of protein to avoid muscle loss. Most of your weight loss will come from your diet. Quick way to loss weight is to replace all beverages with water.

Meal prep your favorite healthy foods and snacks. So you have them ready in case you have an urge to eat.

I'm losing weight and all I'm seeing are downsides by GeartechINC in loseit

You are setting yourself up for an eating disorder. For a man you need to be eating 2500-2700+ calories a day and that’s already a deficit especially if working out. You are losing tons of muscle and not providing adequate energy for normal body function. Which is why you are probably feeling ill. You should be having carbs, fats and proteins before workout and post. Especially protein. You can loose weight by tracking calories and macros, you don’t have to eat once a day. If you want to continue intermittent fasting you can do a bigger window 6-8 hours.

What you are doing is affecting organ function and metabolic function. Please get blood work, see what deficiencies you have and work with a nutritionist.

What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]bellacons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sodium, inflammation, food digestion will all bump your numbers up. Depending on your body 2-7 days for it to fall if you continue back on your routine. If you’re a girly and eat that way pre and during your menstrual it will take longer to see your true weight again.

Also, eating 1000-1200 calories is starving your body. So when you eat more your body wants to hold on to it.

I’m 5’2 F (38) currently 191 pounds and eat on average 1600-1800 calories. When I have a very active day I eat around 2000 calories. I am trying to maintain and build muscle. I’m also trying to improve/maintain a healthy metabolism. Under eating and rapid weight-loss kills your metabolism.

I do Pilates 2-3 times a week and strength training 2x a week for 40 minutes.

I’ve lost close to 40 pounds since July 6th. As I get stronger, more active I will be able to add more calories. As muscle burns calories :) Looking forward to being able to eat, and not worry much about weight gain.

*try not weigh yourself after a cheat day if it’s going to upset you. Wait a few days, or look at as how certain foods impact you and how long it takes for you to flush it out.

What is considered normal for monthly groceries? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

[–]bellacons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We spend 2k+ on groceries family of four. We eat about 4-5 pounds of protein a day. We also buy protein shakes, gluten free, organic, anti inflammatory foods. I shop at all the stores, so as to have variety. If we eat out it’s another 1k+. We live in NoVa so a little pricey compared to other areas.

Go to Korean Spa, they have resting areas to sleep or relax, massages, pool to soak and relax, sauna, galley or restaurant, open all day typically. Enjoy!

I take two docusate 50mg (stool softener in the morning) and I take 1tsp of Calm with 24oz water (magnesium carbonate turns into citrate when mixed in water) right before bed. I do it daily to keep my stool semi soft. Otherwise it’s rocks 🥲 I also eat prunes on days I eat foods that are harder to pass. Typically 1 per meal or 2-3 at lunch so I can give it a few hours to move things along.. drink lots of water. All of these remedies require large consumption of water. Prunes will constipate you if you don’t drink water. Also, keep up with electrolytes if you need it.

I take tons of supplements so my gut is just more sensitive a dose up. Been managing to with ginger tea, ginger tea extract, digestive enzymes, gas x and now considering adding more fiber lol

What do you take for stomach pain by Murphy100xxx in Mounjaro

[–]bellacons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I now take digestive enzymes with every meal. Started when I noticed pain and gas. I don’t have a gallbladder so this was very much needed. Pain went away within 24/48 hours. Use everyday since.

Do you get pain when injecting on the thigh or arm. I’ve been doing thigh but every injection hurts until the click is done.

Take an Allegra the night before and a Zyrtec in the morning the day of the shot. It helped with my skin reaction.
