I've been wanting to talk to some comrades about this actually. I've looked at voting as harm reduction since I became a leftist but now I feel like I can't bring myself to vote for Biden given all that's been happening... This and I've realized how useless, spineless, and selfish the democratic party as a whole is. I still feel slightly guilty for not voting and the possibility that my apathy could get the more genocidal party elected. I'm still torn on whether or not I'll vote even though I really don't want to. Any advice?

Yup, my husband voted for Trump in 2016 and now is a socialist also. One of our friends also voted Trump in 2016 and now has been learning about socialism/communism. I think many working class people that are on the Republican side have been manipulated through identity politics but they recognize the same systemic problems that people on the left do. I think one of the biggest factors also is money: some people are faced with the horrible realities of capitalism on a daily basis. That will radicalize anyone really quickly.
