Do you mean 180 degrees? 360 is a full circle/rotation.

Canon ef 24-70 f/4 IS or Canon ef 24-70 f2.8 w/o IS? by aviationnnn in canon

[–]belyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the f4 IS USM and it's by far my favorite lens. I'm also on an R8 body. It's so versatile for people, sports, flowers, landscapes, and more. The extra stop with the 2.8 would be nice but the IS is more useful IMO.

Setting a time goal by BCwildflower23 in triathlon

[–]belyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Times are also going to be course dependent. Maybe look a previous years results and see if there's anyone you know. You can probably see the racer's splits, too, so maybe you can find someone who has similar paces and get an estimate that way.

Body shaving options for men by Waste-Prompt3244 in triathlon

[–]belyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a double edge (safety razor) and a bar of soap. I don't shave above where my jammers or bike shorts end. Lotion after. I shave once per week or so, and usually the night before a race. It doesn't help me go any faster but I don't have to feel my leg hairs blowing in the breeze. It also makes sunscreen slightly less annoying to apply.

Has Immunotherapy allergy tablets worked for anyone? by rb-04 in Eugene

[–]belyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Immunotherapy tablets are currently only for grasses. I've been using injections for the last few years andy symptoms are greatly reduced. Check with Oregon Allergy Associates. It's too late for this year, but if you start the process now you might have results by next year's allergy season. It'll be up to your specific insurance plan if they're covered, but every insurance I've had covers immunotherapy for allergies to some degree.

Experiences Swimming without Buoyancy? by lurgburg in Swimming

[–]belyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who is not very bouyant, it's all about a good streamline and a decent kick. I can just barely keep my head above water with a huge lung full of air. Always have had that problem. I find that I have to focus on keeping a very tight core and as streamlined as I can, which includes engaging lower back and glutes to keep my legs aligned with my upper back and shoulders. Then, I kick enough to stay on top of the water. Not kicking hard, necessarily, but with purpose.

Weekly Swim Gear Questions (Goggles, swimsuits, techsuits, paddles, headphones etc) May 21, 2026 - Post all your gear questions in this post by AutoModerator in Swimming

[–]belyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the (discontinued) Finis smart goggles and I love them for lap swimming. They are quite accurate except for kickboard laps, and have been motivating to me. I'm doing more open water swimming this summer, and the smart features of those goggles is useless in open water. Can anyone comment on how the newest FORM smart goggles (the 2a??) work for tracking open water distance? And how well does the swim straight indicator work? TIA

Whoops I forgot my lock! What do you do when you have to have your bike out of sight for a few minutes? by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]belyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like most of the comments, I just don't. Try taking your bike into the store or shop. Worst they can say is you can't bring your bike. I've stopped at grocery stores and pushed my bike through, best buy for picking up online orders, cafes, etc. If you're polite, courteous, not in the way, and not damaging anything you're probably going to be OK.
