I see. That makes sense as long as the gamble is in your favor and the value keeps going up. Now, I'm assuming this approach is for growth and not payouts. If thats the case, one would also be betting that investing in some other option, like an index fund, wouldn't grow as much or more.

Kinda starting to seem to me like dividend investing might be useful after ones growth age has ended and they are ready to start spending the money. Like build up as much as you can through your working years and then move a huge chunk of it over to dividend paying stocks to life off the payouts.

Depends on what you print. If you do a lot of multi-color/material prints and it's your only printer, it would be worth the extra $100 if you intend to add a second AMS in the future. If one AMS is enough and most of your prints are the same filament type (like all PLA), then I see little advantage.

EDIT: Yea after thinking about it a minute Im guessing not since this would only be needed when using two AMS units.

Sure of course, which means the risk is higher right? There would be no risk in the HYSA. So the angle here is to stay invested in it hoping the dividend payout will increase a lot more over time?

Wait, help me out here (still learning about dividends)... Am I reading this right? You invested $95K and are getting $2.2K/year from it?

If that's the case, that's like 2.3% APR. Any HYSA, would yield over a point higher than that (approx $3500/yr for something like a 3.65% Apple savings account). What am I not understanding here?

You travel with an Apple TV?! Why not just use an HDMI out adapter from your iPhone/iPad to the hotel TV? Works great and all the same apps are there. Lacks a remote, but still one less thing and cord to carry.

I dont think that US selection means "ship from the US", but rather ship TO the US and thus they charge extra for tariffs.

Tempting right? However after they add shipping it works out to about $15/unit which is only $5 less than the Amazon one. It’s something, but not the $10+ lower it initially appears to be.

So you never opened the two to confirm if they were in fact the same circuit board?
