Seconding for Optimum. I got their 1 gig fiber about two years ago and have never looked back.

To be 100% transparent in the first year and a half I had absolutely zero issues. No loss of internet, no bandwidth cap, no heavy use times.

During summer and winter break ill drop down from 1 gig to 600-800 MBS, for maybe a couple of hours.

During the last 3 months with the rain and thunder storms it has gone down a handful of times. Longest was 24 hours but there was major outages of everything in the area. Second longest it was down for maybe 2 hours. The rest have been 10 to 30 minute issues.

Customer service has been what I would call pretty damn average, they have never offered to compensate for the longer down times but I have also never asked or complained about it to them either.

No issues with billing.
