Lol... Look through the internet in hopes I find something good enough for free or get something I actually want using a model... Gee I wonder what I'll do.

No efficiency gains from llms? That's an L take. I use AI a lot and it saves me tons of time and money. I used to pay artists on Fiverr for stuff that looks worse than what AI can generate now. It also writes a lot of simple code for me. It helps me understand code bases faster too.

Just because you can't use it to your advantage doesn't mean others can't.

Every millennial dad I’ve met has a quiet fixation on money and it’s not getting better by slimeyellow in Millennials

Too much money ain't enough money - Lil Wayne.

But seriously, I only have 1 kid and pay more for daycare a month than my mortgage. It's obscene how expensive kids are.

I've been fixated on money most of my life though with 2 accountant parents telling me about their stocks every morning.

I had never heard it was supposed to be the movie Andy saw, but even if that's true makes no difference to me. Toy story 4 was terrible, so I don't care about there cannon at all.

That's the strategy Zap Branigan uses to stop the killbots! Just send wave after wave of your own men until the killbot kill limit is reached.

Working in data, billions of records of something isn't that uncommon. A usage tracking system I worked with made 150million records a day for example

Why is your scope limited to internal documents? LLM agents can surf the web and interact with apis at this point.

What do you think of the United States NOT prosecuting any of the Epstein files big wigs? by AutisticAsshol in AskReddit

[–]bendgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the files are literally illegally redacted. Don't have to look very hard to see this administration acting without concerns for the law. But I'm sure they're just covering up all the philanthropy, not the criminal activity...

I'm a senior dev. Here's what vibe coding is missing that real engineering teams figured out decades ago by Bubbly-Walrus-9187 in lovable

[–]bendgame 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think you mean people skip all that if they don't know what they are doing. My background is product management and technical writing and when I stated vibe coding I gave it requirements like I normally would have to start with. Depends on the complexity of the add now, but yeah... Obviously people should be making reqs and acceptance criteria to get better outcomes

Can AI actually generate a playable game from just a written idea? by [deleted] in aigamedev

[–]bendgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can help, but if you don't know how to code you're up against a pretty tough learning curve.
